Serial Killer Targets Minorities to Evade Cops
48sThis controversial observation about a killer strategically choosing victims based on race taps into real historical prejudice, making it a shocking and thought-provoking clip.
▶ Play ClipIn this video, Derek shares horror movies that genuinely scared him, including The Black Phone, Orphan, Barbarian, and Weapons. He explains why each film's unique brand of terror—from psychological torture to unsettling twists—made them stand out. The video blends personal reactions with comedic commentary.
Finny Blake is bullied at school and abused by his father, then kidnapped by a serial killer called The Grabber who uses psychological torture.
The killer acts friendly with a Willy Wonka voice but tests victims by leaving the basement door open, beating them if they try to escape.
The Grabber strategically kills minority children in the 1970s to avoid police attention, making him scarier.
A couple adopts a seemingly perfect girl named Esther, but she exhibits disturbing behavior like killing a pigeon and threatening castration.
Esther kills a nun, destroys a memorial, and threatens to cut off the son's balls if he tells.
Esther is actually a 33-year-old woman with a genetic disorder that makes her look like a child, and she wants to seduce the father.
Tess stays at an Airbnb in Detroit with a stranger, discovers hidden rooms and tunnels, and encounters a giant naked cave woman called The Mother.
The Mother feeds captives breast milk from a baby bottle, and is the product of generations of incest by a serial killer.
A movie about 17 kids who run out of their homes at 2:17am in a triangular pose, directed by Zach Cregger, creates intense tension through music and atmosphere.
The music (or lack thereof) builds unbearable tension, making even a door opening terrifying.
Derek concludes that the scariest horror movies rely on atmosphere, tension, and psychological dread rather than jump scares, and encourages viewers to share their own scary movie recommendations.
"The title delivers exactly what it promises: Derek's personal list of horror movies that actually scared him, with detailed explanations."

21:10[00:00] You know, I think we can all agree a lot
[00:02] of horror movies just aren't that scary.
[00:04] But lying beneath all this mediocre, not
[00:08] scary stuff are gems. Horror movies that
[00:10] are so good, so captivating, so scary
[00:14] that you might just start
[00:15] >> pissing your pants.
[00:16] >> So that's what we'll be doing today.
[00:17] It's been about 42 years since I did the
[00:19] last one, but today I'll be going over
[00:21] some more horror movies that I actually
[00:23] find scary. Yes, me, I, Derek. Horror
[00:26] movies that I find scary. Had to make
[00:28] that clear. And in the end, I'll go over
[00:30] one of the scariest movies I've ever
[00:32] seen. All right, let's run it.
[00:39] First time I heard about this movie, one
[00:41] of my friends suggested we go watch it
[00:42] one night for fun. You know, spur the
[00:44] moment type of thing. Watch it in
[00:45] theaters for that real scary experience.
[00:48] Uh, he ended up ditching me and go with
[00:49] a girl instead. So, I watched it on
[00:51] streaming. But it was still pretty
[00:52] scary. I'm going just assume you ain't
[00:54] never seen it. So, if you ain't know, in
[00:55] the Black Phone, we follow this kid
[00:57] named Finny Blake. American kid from the
[00:59] suburbs in 1978. And while he may live
[01:02] in the suburbs and look like the average
[01:03] American around this time, let me tell
[01:05] you, this kid Finny, this kid is not
[01:07] living the American dream. First off, he
[01:09] gets bullied at school, which you know
[01:11] already sucks. Getting bullied, that
[01:13] sucks. But this is 70s bullying, too.
[01:15] Not 2000's getting called the hard R on
[01:17] the game. Nah, this is put your head in
[01:19] the freaking toilet bowl and beat you up
[01:21] for the dumbest reason type of bully. I
[01:22] don't like your glasses. Four eyes. Like
[01:25] what? What? Y'all was beating up people
[01:27] for being visually impaired. And then
[01:29] speaking of beat, Finn's father not the
[01:32] best either. Like I thought Hispanic
[01:34] moms were bad, but this man be raising a
[01:35] belt off any little thing. Like his
[01:37] temper could have been a horror movie on
[01:38] its own. Like Finny will be munching on
[01:40] his cereal, minding his business. You
[01:42] think you could slurp that any louder?
[01:43] Like damn, bro. You got some superhero
[01:45] or something? It's the ' 70s. Let him
[01:47] enjoy his crunch logs in peace. Mind
[01:49] you, this is all only like 12 minutes
[01:51] into the movie. And I already felt bad
[01:52] for the kid. Dad beats you. Born in the
[01:55] 70s, this dude's life is terrible. But
[01:57] to top it all off, just when you thought
[01:59] it couldn't get any worse for the kid,
[02:00] one day while he's walking home from
[02:02] school, Finny gets kidnapped. And this
[02:04] is where the horror really starts. Cuz
[02:06] the dude who kidnapped Finny is one of
[02:08] the strangest, one of the most just
[02:11] unsettling killers I've seen on screen.
[02:13] The Grabber, which um not the best name.
[02:16] I'm not going to lie to you. The
[02:17] Grabber. That that can mean a lot of
[02:19] things, bro. But in this case, it's cuz
[02:21] he be grabbing up kids from the street
[02:23] and murking them. That's right. And to
[02:25] me, this guy is by far the scariest part
[02:27] of the movie. Like for some horror
[02:29] movies, it's the atmosphere or the jump
[02:30] scares, but in the Black Phone, it's
[02:32] this guy. Cuz yeah, we've seen all types
[02:34] of killers in these movies before, but
[02:37] the feeling I got when this dude was on
[02:39] my screen was just
[02:41] cuz you know, he likes to do these weird
[02:43] psychological torture games to the kids
[02:45] he kidnaps. Like like first he'll start
[02:47] acting like he's a nice guy doing this
[02:49] weird Johnny Depp's Willy Wonka voice
[02:52] that he does.
[02:53] >> Hurt you? I'm not going to hurt you. Now
[02:55] why would I do you want some soda? Let
[02:58] me get you some soda.
[02:59] >> I'm not even joking. That's actually how
[03:00] he sounds to me. Then he'll do these
[03:02] things to test the kids like leave the
[03:04] basement door open. But if he catches
[03:06] you trying to sneak out of it, he'll
[03:08] beat you. Yeah. And according to him for
[03:10] being a naughty boy, whatever that be.
[03:13] And that's really his whole goal while
[03:14] you trapped in his basement. This dude
[03:16] is just itching for you to be naughty.
[03:18] But the scariest thing about this dude
[03:20] to me is he's a smart killer. I noticed
[03:22] this while I was watching. As the movie
[03:24] goes on and Finny gets more advice from
[03:25] the dude's victims through the black
[03:27] phone, the movie eventually shows us how
[03:29] many victims the grabber has. Five. And
[03:32] there's this one specific scene in the
[03:34] movie that shows all of them lined up.
[03:35] And that scene not only confirmed how
[03:37] smart this dude is to me, but it also
[03:39] added a whole new layer of fear. Cuz
[03:42] tell me why I'm looking at who he
[03:44] killed, right? And I noticed this dude
[03:47] started killing minorities. And I ain't
[03:49] saying it's okay when it was white kids.
[03:50] No, no, I'm not saying that. But you got
[03:52] to put it in perspective. This is the '
[03:54] 70s. You tell the cops back then a
[03:56] Mexican kid is missing, they just going
[03:57] to be like, "Well, he probably went
[04:00] home." They might as well be gone with
[04:01] the win in the 70s cuz the NBC ain't
[04:03] covering them. And I don't know about
[04:05] y'all, but to me that that's much scary.
[04:07] A lot scarier. That means this dude was
[04:09] smart enough to switch up his game plan
[04:11] to avoid getting caught. He was probably
[04:12] sitting in his room like, "All right,
[04:14] next mouth. I'll do white, white, black,
[04:16] white. Is that too much white?"
[04:18] >> That junk is scary, y'all. I'm telling
[04:20] y'all, if it wasn't for him getting
[04:21] greedy and going after Finny, which led
[04:23] to his demise, a lame one at that. Like,
[04:25] how you going to get pieced up by a
[04:27] pre-teen, bro? I'm telling you, this
[04:28] dude would have never gotten caught. He
[04:30] was playing meta,
[04:34] but I had the black phone first for a
[04:36] reason. It's not even close to the
[04:38] scariest horror movie I've watched. A
[04:39] movie that's a bit closer, though, is
[04:41] Orphan. Like Black Phone scares me cuz I
[04:43] imagine being a kid and running into
[04:45] that dude. But even as an adult, this
[04:47] one this one freaks me out. This movie
[04:49] is so good. I don't even want to hint at
[04:51] what it's about yet. I mean, obviously
[04:53] an orphan, but you know what I mean. So,
[04:55] in Orphan, we follow this married
[04:56] couple, Kate and John. And even though
[04:58] these two definitely got it better than
[04:59] Finny over there, I mean, look at their
[05:01] crib. Life ain't perfect and stuff ain't
[05:03] always sweet, especially in marriage.
[05:05] And trust me, I would know. I've had
[05:07] like three divorces on Sims. But in K
[05:09] and John's case, it's not divorce. is
[05:11] that they lost their baby. And this loss
[05:14] clearly flung Kate into a depression.
[05:16] She took up the bottle, started seeing a
[05:18] therapist. This was some sad stuff. And
[05:21] then John, not so much. I'm not going to
[05:24] say he wasn't sad, but I couldn't see
[05:25] it. All I saw him trying to do was get
[05:27] one in with Kate. But hey, I ain't
[05:28] judging. Some of the happiest dudes you
[05:30] be seeing be the saddest. So maybe
[05:31] that's how he copes. So to finally deal
[05:33] with the sadness, Kate and John decide
[05:35] they want to give that love they would
[05:37] have gave their daughter to another kid
[05:39] cuz they're just sweet like that. So,
[05:40] they go to the orphanage, which I never
[05:42] understood how these things work, like
[05:44] parent-wise. Do you just come in and
[05:46] pick the one that looks most like you?
[05:47] Like, oh, look at this one, honey. This
[05:48] one has your eyes sort of. Or can you
[05:51] just adopt any kid even if they're
[05:53] nothing like you? Because if that's the
[05:55] case, I know exactly what I'm doing. I'm
[05:57] going just line up all the kids and tell
[05:58] them to race. Max is the one coming home
[06:00] with me. You might take it out, buddy.
[06:02] And Kate and John must have been
[06:03] thinking the same thing I was, cuz out
[06:05] of all the kids they could have picked
[06:06] from the orphanage, they chose the most
[06:08] gifted one. a little girl by the name
[06:10] Esther. And you've seen the title. You
[06:12] don't got to play dumb. There is
[06:14] something wrong with this little girl.
[06:16] And before you say, no, it's not the
[06:18] fact that she dresses weird. Come on,
[06:19] y'all. She's just Russian. It's worse
[06:21] than that. Far worse. Which is crazy cuz
[06:23] at first when you're watching it, Esther
[06:25] looks like the best daughter in the
[06:26] world. She's polite. She's smart. She
[06:29] learns ASL to talk with her or not talk
[06:31] with her her new deaf sister. She's
[06:33] great. I mean, it's it's no Project
[06:34] Lebron, but this is still amazing stuff.
[06:37] almost too amazing cuz the longer these
[06:40] two live with this little girl, the more
[06:42] cracks they start to see in this little
[06:44] perfect daughter image. Like first thing
[06:46] we see is that she has a bit of a temper
[06:48] problem. This girl from school tried
[06:50] touching like the little ribbons around
[06:51] her neck and she JUST FLIPPED OUT.
[06:54] Like all right, maybe maybe that's a
[06:57] Russian thing, too. And then there's the
[06:58] scene where she walks in on Kate and
[07:00] John coping with their loss if you get
[07:02] what I'm saying. And instead of being
[07:04] traumatized like a normal kid, she just
[07:06] stares. What kind of? And that's not
[07:08] even the weirdest part about that one
[07:09] cuz after Kate saw that Esther saw them,
[07:11] you know, she feels the need to give
[07:13] Esther the the birds and the bees talk.
[07:15] So she pulls up on her Esther when two
[07:18] people love each other very much. You
[07:20] know, they they want to show they
[07:23] Yeah, I know. I know. They be She was
[07:25] not expecting that. And then the thing
[07:27] she did that just really took it over
[07:29] the top for me with this girl was that
[07:30] after Kay and John's son accidentally
[07:32] shot a pigeon while he was playing with
[07:33] a paintball gun and I'm saying
[07:34] accidentally very loosely here because
[07:36] the dude literally aimed his sights in
[07:38] and shot. Then he want to be talking
[07:39] about some I didn't mean to. I didn't
[07:41] mean to. Shut up. Esther pulls up on him
[07:43] and tells him he needs to take some
[07:45] accountability which is facts. That's
[07:47] facts. By putting the bird out its
[07:50] misery.
[07:52] Oh my goodness. That's cold. But you are
[07:54] 9 years old. What are you talking about?
[07:56] And the kid Daniel obviously couldn't do
[07:58] it. Telling me to kill a pigeon. What
[08:00] are you talking about? But guess what?
[08:02] Esther does it. No hesitation or
[08:04] nothing. Just bop. There is something
[08:06] wrong with this little girl. And Kay
[08:08] eventually realized something is up,
[08:10] too. So, she starts doing some digging.
[08:11] Calls the orphanage to find out what's
[08:13] wrong. And see, if I was the parent, I'm
[08:15] calling too, but I would have just said,
[08:17] "Forget figuring out what's wrong." I
[08:19] would have just called up,
[08:19] >> "Hello." Yeah. So, mine just killed a
[08:22] pigeon. Uh yeah, y'all do refunds or
[08:24] >> and Kate doing all this investigating
[08:26] actually made things worse. This is when
[08:28] things get scary. Cuz if you thought
[08:30] Esther's antics were bad before, you
[08:32] don't even know cuz remember I told
[08:34] y'all Esther is a smart girl. Very
[08:36] smart. So when she gets wind of Kate's
[08:38] plan to find out who or what she is from
[08:41] Sister Abigail, she decides to handle it
[08:43] in a very calm and tactful way.
[08:47] Nah, I'm just kidding. She kills her.
[08:49] Yeah, even with all them cracks from
[08:51] earlier, I did not think this 9-year-old
[08:53] was capable of murdering anyone, much
[08:55] less a nun. That's like double evil. And
[08:58] it doesn't even end there, cuz after
[08:59] that, she only continues to do evil
[09:01] stuff. She destroys the memorial cape
[09:03] made for the daughter they lost out of
[09:05] spite. She burns down the family
[09:06] treehouse to dispose of all the
[09:08] evidence. And this last thing she did
[09:10] had me genuinely scared. Y'all remember
[09:13] Kay and John's son, right, Daniel? But
[09:15] before Esther burned down the treehouse,
[09:17] Daniel saw her hide the evidence in the
[09:19] treehouse. But Esther saw that. So she
[09:22] pulls up in his sleep and tells him if
[09:23] he says what he saw to anyone, she going
[09:26] to pull up on him again and cut off
[09:31] his hairless balls. His balls. I don't
[09:35] care what no one says. Freddy, Jason,
[09:37] and Michael ain't never said something
[09:38] that scary to no one before. I was
[09:40] around this kid's age when I first seen
[09:42] this movie. So that threat felt like it
[09:43] was at me at me sitting there clutching
[09:45] my nuts in fear. There is something
[09:47] wrong with this girl. And the worst part
[09:49] is no one can prove anything cuz she's
[09:51] nine. The cops won't believe that. Tell
[09:54] them she murdered someone and burned
[09:55] down a treehouse, they just going to be
[09:56] like, why? Which is a good question. Why
[09:59] is she doing this? Is she possessed? Is
[10:02] she a demon? Is she a skinw walker? Why
[10:04] is this little girl so evil? Well, at
[10:06] the end of the movie, that's when it all
[10:08] makes sense. So, after this girl, Kate
[10:10] gets sedated for for pretty much pimp
[10:12] slapping Esther. At this point, let's
[10:14] not act like she don't deserve it,
[10:15] y'all. We know she deserved it. John
[10:17] goes home with Esther and Max and leaves
[10:18] Kate alone at the hospital. And while
[10:20] she's there, she gets a call from the
[10:22] previous orphanage Esther belonged to.
[10:24] Or should I say what she thought was the
[10:26] orphanage cuz she finds out Esther's
[10:28] last spot wasn't an orphanage. It was a
[10:31] psych ward. Yeah, this little girl is
[10:33] crazy. Which makes sense. You got to
[10:36] have at least a few screws loose to
[10:37] throw to cut off someone's ball. But
[10:38] that's not even the full explanation cuz
[10:40] this Russian dude tells Kate on top of
[10:42] being crazy, Esther has been keeping
[10:44] something else under wraps. Last chance
[10:46] to leave, y'all. Last chance. This
[10:48] little girl Esther is not a little girl
[10:50] at all. She's a grown woman.
[10:55] Mhm. Mhm. Crazy. Apparently, she looks
[10:58] like this cuz of some genetic dwarf
[11:00] thing. But my mind was blown when I
[11:03] first seen this. Like, this is some
[11:04] weird anime stuff. a middle-aged woman
[11:07] pretty much trapped in the body of a
[11:08] child. That must suck. You wouldn't even
[11:11] be able to do regular stuff. Like,
[11:13] imagine your friends trying to go to Six
[11:14] Flags and you can't get on anything but
[11:16] the kitty rides cuz you 35 in the body
[11:19] of a seven-year-old. That would be
[11:20] horrible. But that's how it is for
[11:22] Esther. But that still doesn't answer.
[11:24] Why would she go out her way to look
[11:26] even more childlike? Why is she trying
[11:28] to live with people? Well, the reason
[11:29] she did all this stuff, you know, get
[11:31] adopted, torment Kate, was for one
[11:33] reason, a twist again. The reason she
[11:36] did all this was because she wants John.
[11:41] I know she's really an adult, but this
[11:44] don't feel right. This whole thing from
[11:46] beginning to end was just Esther trying
[11:47] to get herself a man. And there's just
[11:50] just so many things wrong with this.
[11:52] Like, you really thought this was the
[11:53] way to do it? Dressing up as a child.
[11:56] That pigtailes and dress stuff might
[11:57] work in Japan or with billionaires, but
[11:59] not with a man who's trying to adopt
[12:01] you. Bro, come on. That's gross. And
[12:03] that's who it's the scariest for, at
[12:05] least in the end. Cuz remember, they
[12:07] went home without Kate. So when they get
[12:10] home, John has to deal with Esther, who
[12:12] he thinks is just a Russian kid he
[12:14] adopted, trying to re him. Ah, this junk
[12:17] is gross. She over here talking about
[12:19] some But you said you love me. Seeing
[12:22] someone get rejected is cringey enough,
[12:24] but seeing a father reject his daughter,
[12:27] that's something I thought only
[12:29] dudes in Arkansas had to deal with. I
[12:32] don't want to see this messed up part is
[12:33] that dude John doesn't even figure out
[12:35] that she's been fooling them that whole
[12:36] time. I mean, maybe he did cuz he saw
[12:39] her without her makeup when she stabbed
[12:40] him to death, but I doubt it. Kate
[12:42] rushes home after figuring out the news.
[12:44] I mean, obviously she's late. John's
[12:46] dead. But either way, Kate got to be the
[12:49] realest chick I seen in a horror movie
[12:50] cuz when she was approaching the crib to
[12:52] park up and run inside, she said that
[12:55] and straight up crashed her car into her
[12:57] crib. That's some cool stuff. Could you
[12:59] imagine nothing was happening inside
[13:01] though? That would have been a little
[13:02] embarrassing. And this one pretty much
[13:03] concludes with Kate getting back for Jon
[13:05] and killing Esther by kicking her after
[13:07] she tried to pull a Don't let me die,
[13:08] Mommy. And I know I just talked hella
[13:12] about this movie, but Orphan, it's still
[13:14] not close to being the scariest one. I'm
[13:16] sorry. I'm sorry. A movie that is though
[13:18] is Barbarian.
[13:22] This one was actually suggested by one
[13:23] of you guys a little while ago. And let
[13:25] me tell you something about this movie.
[13:27] This movie is not only scary, but it's
[13:30] weird. like movies I thought were weird
[13:32] for type of weird and that's actually
[13:34] what I was saving it for, but here it
[13:36] is. So, this movie is about a girl named
[13:38] Tess who's staying at an Airbnb in
[13:39] Detroit. I ain't say nothing. Except
[13:41] this Airbnb got some weird stuff going
[13:44] on in it. First of all, when this girl
[13:45] gets there, she finds out someone else
[13:47] was already staying there. A dude at
[13:49] that. And because of some event going on
[13:51] in the city, she has to stay with him.
[13:53] Oh, heck no. See, I'm a dude and I'm
[13:55] sleeping amongst the rats before I even
[13:57] think about sharing a crib with literal
[13:59] Pennywise. That's his actor, y'all. Look
[14:01] at him. But that was only the first
[14:02] thing. Cuz later at night, the weird
[14:04] stuff continues when Tess in the middle
[14:06] of the night hears a weird sound. And I
[14:08] mean weird.
[14:12] Sound like someone aggressively sucking
[14:14] a baby bottle. What the heck? But when
[14:15] she looks to see if it's the dude she's
[14:17] staying with, she sees he's asleep. The
[14:20] heck is going on? And it only gets
[14:22] stranger. The next day, Tess go outside
[14:24] and notices the neighborhood she stayed
[14:25] in is run down. Like bad. I ain't say
[14:28] nothing. After her job interview, people
[14:30] tell her she shouldn't even be on that
[14:31] side of town, that it's dangerous. And
[14:33] strangest of all, when Tess gets back to
[14:35] the crib and accidentally gets herself
[14:36] stuck in the basement, she finds a
[14:38] hidden room. And in that hidden room,
[14:42] there's another room. And I don't know
[14:43] what happened in here, but it must have
[14:45] been some messed up stuff cuz this room
[14:47] had a bucket, a stained mattress, a
[14:50] camera, and a bloody handprint.
[14:54] This is not good. Tess obviously panics
[14:56] and luckily at the same time her
[14:58] roommate comes back. Convenient, huh?
[15:00] And she starts telling him, "Look, we
[15:02] got to go. There's a bucket with boo
[15:03] boo, a camera, and a buddy hand in the
[15:04] basement. We got to go." And it's a
[15:06] horror movie, so you know, dumb stuff is
[15:07] like law. Tell me why this dude says I
[15:09] should go check it out myself to be
[15:11] safe. What you mean to be safe? If we
[15:13] just leave and call the cops, I think
[15:16] that's pretty safe. I don't know how
[15:17] Tess ain't think maybe this dude was
[15:18] behind it or something at this point.
[15:20] That's what I was thinking. There's a
[15:21] stranger in your crib. He shows up when
[15:23] you find the stuff and then he wants to
[15:25] go check it out himself. Come on, bro.
[15:28] But I realized quickly I might have been
[15:30] wrong cuz after this dude goes
[15:31] downstairs and doesn't respond. Tess
[15:33] goes down there, which again is like,
[15:35] "Hey, why would you go into the basement
[15:39] again? You knew this man for about 17
[15:41] hours and you want to play Captain SA
[15:43] clown?" That could have been my best
[15:44] friend and I still would have dipped
[15:45] like I warned you, buddy. But when Tess
[15:47] goes down there to see what's going on
[15:48] with the dude, she discovers that in
[15:51] that hidden room with the room, there's
[15:52] a hidden passageway. See, at this point,
[15:55] I was like, Tess, if you go in there,
[15:57] you either top five dumbest people in
[15:59] horror movies or I'm the most heartless
[16:00] dude on the planet, cuz why would you go
[16:02] in there? She goes down there, of
[16:04] course. And this when the true horror of
[16:06] this movie starts, cuz when Tess gets
[16:08] down them steps, she finds a few, I'll
[16:11] say, surprising things. First of all,
[16:13] she finds out this downstairs area isn't
[16:15] just a basement within a basement. It's
[16:17] a whole tunnel system. Then in that very
[16:20] same tunnel system, she finds some
[16:21] cages. Some very big cages. And then,
[16:24] most surprising of all, she finds her
[16:27] roommate, which is surprising cuz I
[16:29] thought you were in danger, buddy. What
[16:30] happened? At this point watching this,
[16:32] y'all should be thinking the same thing
[16:34] I was thinking when I first watched. Oh,
[16:36] yeah. Tess, you stupid. It's clearly him
[16:38] behind and he's trying to act all
[16:39] scared. This is all clearly him.
[16:42] [Applause]
[16:46] Oh my. Out of nowhere from the tunnels
[16:49] came this giant naked lady that just
[16:52] straight up merckked Keith. And I mean
[16:54] like really naked. Like I can't show
[16:56] y'all, but just know they was hanging
[16:57] tent. And this naked monster lady is by
[17:00] far the most disturbing part of this
[17:02] movie. Well, her and how she was made.
[17:04] Like we don't see it immediately, but
[17:05] after she captures Tess, the actual
[17:07] owner of the house comes through and
[17:08] discovers the same tunnels. And that's
[17:10] when we see how scary this lady is. Cuz
[17:12] first of all, her speech non-existent.
[17:14] Cave speak. And you may not find it
[17:16] scary, but I do. I don't want to be held
[17:18] hostage by someone who speaks like
[17:21] speaking in ugas and boggas. Are you mad
[17:23] or excited? I can't tell. Then we find
[17:25] out they call her the mother, which you
[17:27] may be thinking, "Oh, why is that a big
[17:29] deal?" Well, the reason they call her
[17:31] the mother is because she wants to be a
[17:32] mother so bad that she feeds the people
[17:36] she captures through baby bottles. Yeah,
[17:38] she's giving them milk. And I thought
[17:40] with her speech, she's running to the
[17:41] grocery store and asking where the dairy
[17:43] section is at. So, you can only assume
[17:45] Mhm. That's right. That's her milk. H,
[17:49] that's disgusting.
[17:52] But I'm drinking all of it. Look, it's
[17:53] either that or she starts getting
[17:54] aggressive. And if I'm in this, if she
[17:56] want a baby, she going to get a baby.
[17:57] The second she put that bottle through
[17:59] the cage, I'm going to be in there.
[18:02] Plus, it beats what happens if you don't
[18:04] drink it. If you don't drink it out the
[18:06] bottle, she takes you out the cage and
[18:08] makes you drink it straight from the
[18:10] source. Which I don't even got to
[18:12] explain why a giant naked cave lady
[18:14] giving you some mother's milk is both
[18:15] terrifying and disgusting. And I already
[18:17] know there's going to be some of y'all
[18:18] in the comments saying, "Hear me out."
[18:19] No, bro. I'm not hearing you out. But
[18:22] like I said, how she was made was even
[18:24] scarier cuz she may look like the
[18:25] monster of this movie. I mean I mean she
[18:28] is, but there's a bigger monster behind
[18:29] all this. This guy. And it's okay to be
[18:31] confused. Just looks like a middle-aged
[18:33] dude, right? But this guy is actually a
[18:36] serial killer. Yep. And when I say this
[18:38] dude is sick, I mean he's sick because
[18:41] not only was he murking exclusively
[18:42] women on some Doma stuff, but he would
[18:45] have babies with these women. And after
[18:47] he would have babies with these women,
[18:49] he would have babies with those babies.
[18:52] I know. Take it all in. Take it all in.
[18:54] And he did this over and over and over
[18:58] again until he made the mother, which
[19:00] explains the appearance, the strength,
[19:03] and the cave speak. Yeah, this movie is
[19:06] sick. And now for the scariest movie of
[19:09] the video. It's no other than
[19:15] I got a lot of stuff I want to say about
[19:16] this movie. First, Warner Bros. Hold.
[19:19] This is fair use. Now, before I even get
[19:21] to how I feel about it, you got to know
[19:23] this movie is special. It's about
[19:24] missing kids like the Black Phone and
[19:26] directed by the dude who made Barbarian.
[19:28] And it shows cuz this movie was probably
[19:30] the scariest experience I had in a movie
[19:32] theater ever. And I've seen a dude get
[19:34] jumped at the theaters before. If you
[19:36] ain't never seen it, this movie is about
[19:37] a small town where a classroom of kids
[19:39] go missing under mysterious
[19:41] circumstances. 17 kids all ran out their
[19:44] homes at 2:17 a.m. Yeah, 2:00 a.m., not
[19:46] three. And all of them never to be seen
[19:49] again except one. But the strange thing
[19:51] is when they ran out, they all did this
[19:53] triangular pose almost like a mix
[19:55] between tea posing and the Naruto run.
[19:57] And now the town and the parents are in
[19:59] an uproar trying to figure out how or
[20:01] why this happened. And that's all y'all
[20:03] really need to know cuz this first half
[20:05] is all it took for this movie to scare
[20:07] me. But I didn't know I was going to be
[20:08] that scared when I was coming in. I came
[20:10] in thinking, "Ah, scary." But then about
[20:12] 5 minutes into the movie when I seen
[20:14] that first kid run across the street
[20:16] with his arm stretched out, I want to go
[20:18] home. I can't explain it. It wasn't a
[20:20] disturbing or scary killer. It wasn't
[20:22] spammy jump scares. It was just vibes.
[20:25] That's the best way I can explain it.
[20:27] This movie had scary vibes. Like, bro,
[20:29] this jump was so scary. It made me
[20:31] realize I might be on the spectrum. No,
[20:33] I'm serious. Cuz every time I felt
[20:35] tensions rising or stuff became too much
[20:36] for me, I was immediately rushing to
[20:38] cover my ears. I'm serious. I spent
[20:40] about 80% of the movie like that. Pack
[20:43] the 2. I ain't care. That's just how
[20:45] real it was. I ain't care about what the
[20:46] people around me thought. I was just
[20:48] trying to make it through. And that's
[20:49] what I think it was with this movie.
[20:51] Like, yeah, of course it's also a mix of
[20:52] fear of the unknown, but I think the
[20:54] music of this movie or even lack thereof
[20:56] sometimes just built this tension. And
[20:59] it makes sense, too. We all know horror
[21:01] movies aren't scary without their music.
[21:02] Like, you're not going to be scared
[21:04] watching The Conjuring if it had
[21:05] freaking Spongebob music in the back.
[21:06] like,
[21:08] nah, it just wouldn't be the same. And
[21:10] weapons, weapons was really good at it.
[21:12] The music just made me feel like
[21:14] something was always about to happen.
[21:15] Like, there's this one scene early on in
[21:17] the movie where the teacher of the kids
[21:18] that went missing goes to visit the one
[21:20] kid that didn't go missing to, you know,
[21:21] figure out why he's the odd one out. But
[21:23] while she's posted up out there waiting
[21:25] to see something suspicious, she
[21:27] accidentally falls asleep. But that's
[21:29] not the scary part. The scary part is
[21:31] while she's asleep, the kid's house door
[21:34] opens. And when I tell y'all I've never
[21:36] been so scared to see a door in my life,
[21:39] I'm not trolling. Like that jug had my
[21:41] heart racing. And then when we saw some
[21:43] lady come out that same door wielding
[21:45] some scissors and walking around like a
[21:48] like a crackhead. Oh my goodness. I was
[21:50] in the theater ears covered. Wake up.
[21:52] Come on. Wake up. I was so scared my
[21:55] friend had to let me know to uncover my
[21:56] ears cuz I was yelling. And that was
[21:58] just the first half of the movie too.
[22:00] Even the reveal towards the end, spoiler
[22:01] warning, that it was actually the kid's
[22:03] witch aunt on behind it all had me a
[22:04] little spooked. And not even because I'm
[22:06] scared of what she can do. I mean, low
[22:08] key, but it's cuz look at her. Look at
[22:10] those teeth. If this was the first scene
[22:12] they showed in the movie, uh-uh, I would
[22:14] have walked out immediately. That's
[22:15] pretty much all the movies I wanted to
[22:16] go over today, y'all know what to do.
[22:18] Comment down below the movies y'all
[22:19] thought was the scariest. Or maybe y'all
[22:22] didn't find any of them scary, and I'm
[22:23] just I'm just a Either way,
[22:25] though, comment down below some movies
[22:26] you guys find scary. I might do a part
[22:28] three. Maybe I'll use some of yours. And
[22:30] moral of the story,
