AI Summary
This video presents a complete no-code workflow for building a subscription-based web app using AI. The creator demonstrates how to find real customer complaints on platforms like Reddit, use Hostinger's AI agent to build the app, and then market it with AI-generated video ads. The example used is Rent Fix, a maintenance tracker for small landlords.
Chapters
Look for real problems people complain about on Reddit, then build a subscription app that solves them and charge a monthly fee.
AI creates a spreadsheet with the problem, a real user quote from Quora/Reddit, source links, and a demand signal to gauge if the idea is worth building.
The example app lets landlords create maintenance requests, log costs, view AI-analyzed financials, manage vendors, and upgrade to a $15/mo plan supporting 50 properties.
Use a master prompt in an AI agent to search Reddit, Google, X, and Quora for what people are begging for.
Hostinger centralizes the AI agent, hosting, database, and payments, reducing cost and complexity for beginners.
Agents can open browsers and perform tasks (like research) on their own, unlike standard LLMs like OpenAI.
From the top 3 ideas, choose one that is not saturated, such as the small landlord maintenance tracker.
Copy the Canvas prompt and ask the agent to remake it for your specific app idea and turn it into an MVP prompt.
Charge $15-$50/month for the paid version, and always pair it with a free version as a taster.
After the first build, paste the output back and ask what's missing; add features in phases until the app is complete.
Restrict the free plan (e.g., only one property) so users hit limits and are motivated to upgrade.
Hostinger gives a free domain; publish the app to a custom domain like rentfixapp.com.
By combining AI research, no-code app building, and AI-generated ads, even a beginner can turn a real customer complaint into a monetizable subscription product. The key is to let AI handle the research, building, and marketing while you focus on choosing an unserved problem.

๐ก Key Takeaways
AI agents beat LLMs for research
Agents can open browsers and execute tasks autonomously, making them far more effective than a standard chat LLM for gathering real complaints.
04:41Pick an unsaturated problem
Choosing the third-ranked idea (landlord maintenance) instead of saturated ones shows the value of demand signals over gut feeling.
05:13One tool to rule the stack
Hostinger bundles database, payments, and hosting, removing the friction of juggling multiple services for a solo founder.
07:52Free plan as an upsell funnel
Limiting the free tier forces users to hit a wall and naturally drives upgrades to the paid plan.
10:23Sell the free download first
The creator flips the typical ad strategy: get users in the door with free, then convert later โ a key insight for subscription apps.

[00:02] makes sense as a beginner. You can now find a real problem that people are complaining about. Build a simple subscription app that solves their problem and charge them a fee every single month. These are real people on
[00:17] Reddit complaining about the exact same thing. Most property management tools are built for enterprise companies, which means small [music] to medium landlords are stuck having to figure it out on their own. So, in this video, I'm
[00:31] [music] system that I built to be able to find real complaints from real people and how you can build an AI solution subscription app around it. Now, what I've done to make your life even easier is I've created a whiteboard with all
[00:46] the prompts that you're going to need to be able to do this. Now, once this video only hits 500 likes, I'll leave the canvas board in the pinned comment and thing that I want to do is show you guys that AI was able everything for me,
[01:01] which is find an idea that people are complaining about. This is the spreadsheet that AI made me. Number one is the problem. Number two is the real quote coming from places like Quora or Reddit. And then it's given me all the
[01:15] source links, so it's real. And then it's given me the demand signal. So, is it a strong signal to make an app for? So, AI did all of that research for me. Then, if we take a look at the actual application that I made for the idea
[01:30] that it gave me based on a complaint, you can see here it's called Rent Fix. This essentially helps landlords that have issues with their properties. It's here you can click new maintenance request. You can add in the title, the
[01:45] property, the unit, the category, the media, and you can create a request. going to see your request here, and you can click view job details. It shows you the job. You can log the cost, how much it cost you. You can even see your
[01:59] financials, so how much is it all costing you with AI. So, AI will tell you how much you're spending on issues with your property. Then it has vendors, so you can add your vendors or discover new vendors depending on the issue
[02:13] you've got. And most importantly, you can see I'm on the free plan, but if I can see I'm on the free plan, but if I click plans, I can upgrade to a $15 plan where I can do up to 50 properties, 50 vendors, a job, and priority support.
[02:27] So, all works and functions really, really well. Now, the craziest part is usually you'd have to hire a developer or a team to be able to do this, whereas AI did all of that for me. It built the solution app for the people that have an
[02:41] issues on Reddit for something like this. This is the ad that I made using AI. Everything was done with AI to promote the web app for landlords. text. Six months ago a flooded kitchen at 11:00 p.m. would have ruined my whole
[02:56] Texting my tenant back and forth. Losing every invoice >> across six properties. Then I found Rent Fix. Now, my tenant submits the issue right in the app, photos and all. The AI tells
[03:08] me how urgent it is, recommends which contractor to send, and I assign the >> Okay, so with that being said, let me show you guys how you can do the exact to want to get access to the Canvas
[03:20] you're going to want to come over to section number two. Now, section number two says find what people are begging for. So, we're going to be going through Reddit ideas, Google, X, and other forums like Quora. Now, you're going to
[03:34] get this master prompt that we're going to give to an AI agent to do all the research for us. Now, in this video, I'm going to be using Hostinger for the AI agent to do the research and to build the app. So, I'm going to be using
[03:48] Hostinger for everything. And the reason why that's the best option is because it's going to be one centralized place. It's going to save on cost because I don't need to pay multiple subscriptions for different AI softwares, and the
[04:00] value that you get for hosting it is insane. Especially if you're a startup and a beginner, they make it so easy to use. No complicated UI or design, and it doesn't overwhelm you if you're a beginner. Once you're in your account,
[04:14] you're going to see AI agent in the bottom left. So, you're going to want to you're going to see a UI that looks like this. Now, you're going to see here your business advisor. You're going to paste the prompt that I gave you, and you're
[04:28] going to send it here. Now, if you want to make any changes to the prompt, it's completely down to you. But for now, I'm going to leave it as it is and click get an agent to do this is it's going to save time, and it's going to remove our
[04:41] emotions because the AI is going to pick what makes sense instead of us guessing. And the good thing about an agent over an LLM like OpenAI is it can actually see it's opened up all of these browsers, and it's doing all the work.
[04:58] And you can see if I scroll down, it's giving me the full table. The problem, the source link, and the demand signal. Now, if I scroll all the way down, it gives me the top three actual build ideas. So, number
[05:13] one, freelancing, invoicing, ADHD AI personal assistant, and small landlord maintenance tracker. Now, I'm going to go for the small landlord maintenance tracker because I feel like the other two are a little bit saturated. And then
[05:26] like go deep on number three. Now, in my opinion, it's a good idea to actually do this because then it'll give you more information. Now, once you've chose your idea on what you actually want to build in terms of what solution for. Now, make
[05:40] rush this part because this is or if you rush it, you're going to try and solve somebody's problem that's not even that big. So, one of your follow-up prompts to one of these ideas could be
[05:53] how realistic and what's the market size for this type of problem. But, anyway, once you've done your deep research on what it is exactly you want to offer as a solution app, you're then going to go back to my Canvas whiteboard, and you're
[06:06] going to see the prompts that you need to give AI to build it for you. So, once you've come over to Hosting Horizon and you're on one of their plans that you to pricing, and you can see all the pricing options here. Now, starter is
[06:22] their most popular plan. You can select that plan and use my custom coupon code in the description, ecomking, for 10% off. Again, I'm going to make this very, very clear. The fact that you're going to be able to vibe code this whole thing
[06:35] with this subscription is insane. It used to cost tens of thousands of dollars to hire developers to do this for us. Now, you're not going to want to copy the prompt that I've given you on the Canvas whiteboard, because that's
[06:47] the prompt for my app, which is the Rental Fix Landlord. You're going to want to take this prompt, give it to your agent. Now, I used Hosting Agent, so I can paste the prompt here and say, "Remake this prompt, but make it for my
[07:02] app." And then it will remake the whole prompt, but for your app. And if you want to make it even better, you can type in, "Make me the MVP prompt." Now, whether you used Hosting Agent or a different agent, you need to make sure
[07:15] you do this. Because my prompt on my Canvas is for my app. But, in terms of the way it should be structured is that exact way. You just need to get your agent to remake it for what you're trying to offer. Then, once you've done
[07:28] that, guys, you're going to be greeted with this page where it shows it's thinking. You can see the text box on the bottom. You can upload images. And it's going to take a few minutes for the agent to start working on this task. So,
[07:40] now you can see it It says, "I'll rental fix for you a clean modern maintenance tracker. And then it says, let me start building this now. And now it says, now let me enable subscriptions infrastructure, so we can set up free
[07:52] and pro tiers. So, all the subscriptions are going to be done through Hostinger. And this is what makes it a game-changer, the fact that we can do everything through Hostinger. The database, the payments, the
[08:05] like three different four different companies and run APIs, which is super Then you're going to see on the right-hand screen the preview of it working on our application. Now, whilst it was building the application, it
[08:21] asked me a question, which is before I start building, I need to know for the pro tier what you're going to charge. So, for me, I'm going to do $15 a month. Now, the max that I'd recommend for you guys is between 15 and $50 a month for
[08:34] the paid version. You're going to be offering a free version and a paid version. The free version just to give them enough value to convince them to want to use the paid version. Then you'll see that it does all the work for
[08:46] you and it says, perfect, Rent Fix is ready to go. And it tells you exactly Now, you're not going to be done on just the first go, guys. So, once it's done the first prompt, it doesn't mean it's
[08:58] you copy everything that it's done. So, you can see here it's perfect, it's done all of these things. I would copy all of this over, go back to my agent, paste this in, and say, this is what the AI agent has
[09:13] built. What is it missing and what should it add? It will then give you more prompts to give it. So, for example, in my instance, my agent gave me five phases for it to add to. Phase one is live, then it moved on to phase
[09:27] two, it did phase two, it did phase three, and I did all of these with the me. And then once it's done, you're going to want to ask it to test issues. So, this is why it's a game-changer because if you look here
[09:42] under data, this shows you your database. So, this is shows you your users. This shows you their email, everything. Now, your database is so important and it's all built in to hosting. Then you've got your code, so
[09:56] to build the app. So, testing would be and when I click publish, that's when I'm using the real version. Now, what I can also do is on the preview, I can change it to see what it would look like
[10:09] on mobile to make sure that it is mobile optimized and you can see the desktop version. Now, you can see on mine I've got Rent Fix, I've got dashboard, inbox, properties, vendors, calendar, financials, and then my paid plans. So,
[10:23] you can see here I've got my free plan and my paid plan. Now, what I've done on my free plan is I've given them one property, one vendor job, and basic support. Now, if they're a landlord with four different properties, this free
[10:36] plan is going to be very restricted because they need another three properties to add. So, they're more likely to upgrade because then they're going to get access to adding all of their properties to the database. Now,
[10:48] you can see here under the profile icon they've got maintenance schedule, audit they click subscription, they can view their plan, they can cancel their plan. All can be managed there. Then once you're happy, guys, with your app that
[11:01] solves users' problems and you've tested it and it worked and you know it works, publish and you can click publish. And then you can click the temporary domain and you can actually play around with it. So, this is the landing page it's
[11:16] built me for people that haven't paid yet. So, you can see this is the landing page and I can click here get started for free and I can test it. Now, I already know this works cuz I can go to sign in and I can sign in to my account.
[11:28] Now, it's very important that you test the live version to make sure it works. Because sometimes live versions and dev versions don't always work the same. And ready, you can go back to publish, you can click connect domain name. Now, I
[11:42] typed in rentfixapp and you can see rentfixapp.com is available, so I can select it, click next, and then I'll get my free domain name. And then when I click publish now, it will be published to my official
[11:55] domain name, which is rentfixapp.com. And then just like that, guys, we have got our web application that's mobile-friendly and desktop-friendly that we can now start giving to people that are suffering from those problems
[12:09] based on Reddit forums. Once you've built your app and you've published it and you're happy that it's working, you're now ready to start getting people Now, like I said to you guys before, you've got two options. You can create
[12:22] video ads that you're going to be using to run paid ads for. So, you're going to use something like Facebook ads, Instagram ads, even TikTok ads to get people to want to subscribe to your app. Now, this is very, very important. When
[12:35] you're running paid ads, you're not trying to convince people to go on the paid plan. You're just going to convince people to download it for free. And that's why we have a free option. It's like a taster. It's enough to get them
[12:47] have you ever downloaded an app where you've used a free version and then eventually you get the paid version? It's usually in the same day. So, that's We're going to be running paid ads. We're not going to be saying, "Oh, it's
[13:00] to just say straight away, "Just download it for free, see what you think." And if your app is good, people are going to upgrade. So, you got option number one, running paid ads, it's the most effective option. You're looking at
[13:12] spending between $300 and $700. Or you've got the free version where you create an Instagram page, a TikTok page, and you upload content to that page, which is called organic, where you upload one to three videos a day, and
[13:26] you can use AI to do this. I'll actually leave a video linked in the description of an organic video that I'll teach you how to do this, where you essentially use AI to create loads of videos. It looks like organic content, and you grow
[13:38] your accounts, and then people will find you organically. You'll end up spending between $100 to $300 just on credits to create all the content. So, you've got two options to promote the app. Now, in my opinion, option number one, paid ads,
[13:51] that I'm going to be showing you. So, you're going to want to go back to the canvas board, and you're going to find in the sections a section called make video ads. This rough prompt basically will describe what should be said in
[14:05] your video. As you guys can see here in the Horizon chat, I asked it to give me a full prompt on what is the app, what do we offer, and who do we help? And you can see here it says, "What is Rentfix?" And it goes over absolutely everything.
[14:19] going to be using Higgsfield. I'm not sponsored or endorsed by them. It is the best platform if you want to make AI content. You're going to want to go to going to go to where it says app, and you're going to add your URL here. You
[14:35] called Rentfix. You're going to add your URL. Higgsfield's going to take your website, and then understand what it is that you're selling. going to head over to where it says avatar, and I had to create an avatar.
[14:50] Now, they do give you pre-made avatars, but none of them match the kind of person I'm selling to. So, I went to where it says create avatar. I clicked generate with text prompt, and I gave it the prompt that the agent gave me.
[15:03] Remember, the agent will give you prompts for avatars and the scenes that you need to make. So, I typed in the prompt, and I got my custom avatar made called Daniel, who's essentially a 45-year-old landlord or property owner,
[15:16] and he matches who I'm trying to sell to. Then once you've made your custom add it in. So, you can see I've got Rent Fix as the app and my avatar. You're then going to change it from desktop to mobile, or you can do either. Now, I'm
[15:30] going to do mobile as my app is mobile-friendly. It's fine, I can do either. Then you're going to go and choose UGC, and then you're going to need to add a prompt here. Because like I said to you guys before, I've already
[15:43] them for me. I'm literally just going to copy and paste the prompts. Now, the prompts that you should have are three A-roll clips, which is the avatar speaking, and your prompt should include what the scene is, what is the avatar
[15:58] saying, and then you should have three additional prompts, which are what we call B-roll prompts, which is what you put over the A-roll to make it look like the scene makes sense. So, in total, you should have six prompts per ad. And then
[16:13] I'm going to click generate. Now, this will take around about 10 to 20 minutes to make all of the videos. Then once you're done, guys, you can go over to where it says all generations, and you can see now all the generations that
[16:25] I've made are here. So, these are the three A-roll, A-roll meaning the main So, what you're going to want to do is you're going to want to download these Then once you've done that, you're going to go back to Higgsfield. You're going
[16:40] to change it to 1080p, 9 by 16, 10 seconds. And now what you're going to do is you're going to add the B-roll prompts here. Your marketing studio is to create the A-roll, then the video tool is to create the B-roll. So, all of
[16:54] I can do, guys, is I can download all that footage. I can then head over to CapCut. I can click create new. I can then click 9 by 16. I can then go to
[17:07] I can then click upload, and then I can upload all the files. You can see here all the files have been added. And then what I need to do, guys, is just drag one here. Just make sure that you get it in the right chronological order so it
[17:20] always double-check. So, what I'm going to do is I'm just going to double-check right order. >> If you own rental property, you know >> So, that's the right first scene. Let's check the second scene.
[17:33] >> That's correct. Let's check the third scene. every property. >> Okay, so I've got the timeline right. I'm going to do is I'm going to speed up the clip. I always go into the clip,
[17:46] click speed, and change it to 1.1. little bit lags. Remember, people's attention span these days are zero. So, >> Now, my tenant submitted the issue right in the app, photos and all. The AI tells
[18:01] me how urgent it is, recommends which contractor to send, and I assign the whole job with one tap. It tracks every cost, every contractor, every property, and at tax time, I just export the lot. I genuinely got my evenings back.
[18:14] If you're still running maintenance off text messages and sticky notes, try Rent Fix. The link's right there. >> Okay, so that's perfect. Now, the ad is the B-roll clips in. I can also put the one of the woman struggling with the
[18:27] you're going to want to mute these. So, we're going to go to basic, audio, and mute. And all I've got to do now is go to where it says captions, click auto generate, generate captions, and just like that, now we've got captions. Go to
[18:41] preset, make it the yellow one, go to basics, change it to bold, change the look. >> 6 months ago, a flooded kitchen at 11:00 >> And now I can just go to audio, and I can add in some background music. I
[18:55] and then I use one of the background music options to make the ad feel a little bit less serious. And then just like that, guys, you're going to have You're going to want to make between one and five.
[19:09] this text. 6 months ago, a flooded kitchen at 11:00 p.m. would have ruined answers. Texting my tenant back and forth. Losing every invoice across six properties. Then I found Rent Fix.
[19:22] Now my tenant submits the issue right in the app, photos and all. The AI tells me how urgent it is, recommends which contractor to send, and I assign the whole job with one tap. No phone calls. It tracks every cost,
[19:34] every contractor, every property, and at tax time I just export the lot. I genuinely got my evenings back. If you're still running maintenance off text messages and sticky notes, try Rent Fix. The link's right there.
[19:46] Facebook ads, I will leave a link in the description to my Facebook ad tutorial. Everything remains the same. The only thing that you need to change that's in that video is instead of it being a physical product, it's obviously going
[20:00] to be a digital subscription. So guys, that was my video on how you can take people's real complaints and problems and turn it into a subscription app and make money. And this is a real way to use AI to solve people's problems and
[20:13] section below what you thought of today's video.
