[01:41] yesterday, about this new thing considered cheating. It's technically not new. It's It's been around for a long ass time. If you guys don't know what TMR and Hall Effect sticks are, they're basically the newest type of

[01:55] thumb stick going into controllers right now. So, really quick, TMR thumbsticks. So, TMR stands for tunneling magneto resistance thumbsticks are a next generation of high-end contactless gaming joystick technology that

[02:09] precision. Essentially, what this is is TMR sticks takes magnets and and they TMR sticks takes magnets and and they swap out the gears inside of an analog sticks. So, a regular analog stick has these gears that when you pull your

[02:23] stick, it calculates like how much you're pulling it depending on like how far the gear has been pulled. And the issue with these is that when you use something like this, dust gets in there, the gears wear down, the springs inside

[02:36] and they don't become as springy, so it doesn't push back all the way. And it creates it just creates issues. Now, TMR sticks are different. TMR sticks, they swap out those gears and they replace

[02:48] your controller is doing is it's calculating how far the magnet has been pulled depending on how much resistance is being given from that magnet or how magnet. So, because of that, because it has nothing to do with gears and

[03:02] everything to do with magnets, there there is a lot less stick drift to be same pretty much the entire time for its entirety. Now, that was Hall effect. TMR sticks take it a step further. TMR sticks are like a hundred times more

[03:16] precise. They are 10 times less prone to stick drift. And if you guys watch my last video over on the YouTube channel where I'm talking about different set made for everybody. In that video, there was a sponsor for Blitz Controllers, and

[03:30] that video, I actually might have cut that out cuz the sponsor didn't want me to show that. I forgot. I put my sense on maximum, my dead zone on the lowest, put my settings to like try and give myself stick drift, and I couldn't. I

[03:43] literally could not give myself stick drift because how good those sticks are. Now, one of the things that is happening with these new TMR sticks, and even Hall Effect sticks if I'm not mistaken is they're using something called an RC

[03:57] filter. Pretty much what this RC filter is, this left side here is your stick without the RC filter and this right side is the stick with the RC filter. What it does is it is it shakes or it smooths out your analog stick inputs.

[04:12] So, it's artificially doing this for you. And the reason why this is such an issue is because aim assist is activated by inputs. So, if you're the more that circular movements that you make, the more that you're you're basically just

[04:25] inputting something, the more that your aim assist will be picking up on that. when I was testing out that Blitz controller for that sponsored video was when I when I was in the range like flicking from one target to the next, it

[04:38] literally felt like aimbot. Like, I had my settings turned on maximum. And when I would flick over to the next dummy, it would just get stuck to them. And the whole time I was playing I was thinking, this literally never happened when I was

[04:50] playing on an Xbox controller with like a normal thumbstick. And I'm like, why out, all these controllers have a built-in RC filter, which is causing this to happen. So, Zeus has a lot more info than I do. Let's see what he has to

[05:05] say about the whole situation. Also, I think RC filter controllers got banned >> Right stick, boom. Wait, sorry for the delay. I know many of you have been asking for this for over a month now. But yes, the majority of pro players

[05:18] over the last few months have been cheating in Apex Legends. I'm going to they've been doing I'mma just say this, a lot of pros Zeus is going to say that they're cheating. Technically, they are cheating. No, like literally nobody knew

[05:32] about this until like a couple weeks ago. It's been slowly coming more and "Hey, this is what these TMR sticks actually do. This is what these controllers actually do." Nobody knew about this until recently. Everyone's

[05:44] amazing. Like, you got to play on it. This one is like the [ __ ] Like, it's so because you don't know that it actually has, technically, what is considered cheats in it. doing is legitimately just cheating. And I'm going to prove that.

[05:58] I'm going to show you why that is, but it's also a bit of a gray area, as well, because, technically, until about 24 hours ago, it wasn't cheating. But now, ALGS has finally released new rules to combat this cheating that has been going

[06:13] on, which says, "No need examples of sub-plant and anti-recoil filter, jitter coefficient, and stick filtering is now banned in the ALGS." And we need to go in depth to explain exactly what this is and why it's cheating. Because there's a

[06:28] lot of misinformation and misunderstanding of some very basic concepts. And I'm going to be breaking down exactly why it's cheating and exactly why some people believe it to not be cheating, because I understand

[06:41] there's two sides to the fence here, and some people are just seriously caught up somewhere in the middle and have no idea what the [ __ ] is going on. All right, so explain Yeah, I'm one of those people. I was talking about this over on Twitter,

[06:53] talking about. I was just talking out of my ass and rage-baiting people. >> some really simple things right now that most people will probably already understand. In Apex Legends, we have what's called recoil smoothing, right?

[07:07] Everyone kind of understands it, but they're not exactly sure why it works or how it works. I'm going to explain it really quickly. When I'm aiming at this target and I pull my trigger, the game has a preloaded amount of recoil it's

[07:19] going to apply to my gun, straight up and to the right, okay? I can reduce that recoil quite significantly in the Source engine that Apex uses simply by recoil smoothing. So, the way recoil smoothing works is when I use my strafe

[07:33] move my look stick, as well. Makes sense. If I don't move my look stick at all, I'll immediately go off target. But, if I strafe and stay centered by moving moving my right analog stick to stay centered on this target, I

[07:46] implement into the game a movement which will counteract the recoil. >> Dude, Zeus literally just said a whole bunch and made no sense. The easiest way to explain aim smoothing, gang, there's vertical recoil in this game. You shoot,

[07:58] game is built weird, and when you pull your crosshair in literally any direction, stable and smooth, it gets rid of all of that vertical recoil. So, literally just pulling your gun straight down obviously controls recoil. Pulling

[08:11] your gun up for some reason controls the recoil. But, pulling your gun sideways controls recoil. So, it doesn't matter if you stay centered, it doesn't matter what you do. Literally, just move your analog stick and it's going to control

[08:23] crosshair to the left a little bit and then to the right, it's counteracting that recoil. Super simple, most people understand it, okay? Now, there are >> extreme methods to countering recoil that people have figured out in recent

[08:38] years on Apex. What up, friend in the chat? What up, man? Now, some mouse and and do it pretty well. In order to jitter, you need to move like this in insane little small movements, which makes it hard to track and to aim. So,

[08:51] most mouse and keyboard players won't even use this method to reduce recoil, although it is an extreme method of reducing recoil. I'll show you guys a clip of someone using a script to jitter, which is cheating and has gotten

[09:03] people banned. As you can see, the gun has almost no recoil, and even when we're moving the barrel stabilizer, the gun basically has virtually zero recoil. game, and jittering and using a script

[09:17] to jitter for you is 100% cheating and bannable. It's like recoil smoothing on steroids. Super simple, everyone understands it, okay? Moving on. Now, Strike Pack Zens and Zims have Really quick, jitter aiming um is more than

[09:32] just jittering your controller or like jittering your your stick. The way that jittering your your stick. The way that jitter aiming works is for every bullet that you shoot, you need to make a you need to make a rotation on your analog

[09:44] with your mouse. So, for like really fast shooting guns, it's really hard to jitter aim on because like something like an R9, right? It just blows through So, imagine having to do like 30 rotations with your wrist in half a

[09:57] second. It's really really hard. So, really quick, you're not just shaking your hand. You're trying to make tiny micro circles over and over and over slower it's going to be, so the less less jitter and recoil you get. The

[10:10] smaller it is, the more precise it is, and the faster and the smaller it is, more jitters you can get in, the more bullets that you can shoot straight. So, >> grips and built on them. Similar to the jitter, but this jitter is a little bit

[10:24] different. It's not as extreme as a recoil jitter, and I've shown it in clips before, like here. Now, one of the selling points for Strike Pack and Zen it's vibrating. You see how it's kind of vibrating a little bit, my crosshair?

[10:37] So, this is going to make your aim assist what What it does is it auto activates your aim assist at all times, whereas Apex kind of like doesn't always whereas Apex kind of like doesn't always have it active. Put that on max.

[10:50] >> This is the max. Oh my god. So, as you can clearly see, while that jitter wasn't as extreme on its lowest settings, it was made as a mod to increase aim assist by trying to have aim assist activated 100% of the

[11:04] time by implementing micro movements. 100% a cheat, and nobody would argue that it's not a cheat. It's on a cheat device with the purpose of increasing aim assist. What if I told you the majority of the pro Apex players have

[11:17] been abusing these very cheats for the last few months? They have been abusing it without knowing that they have been abusing it. So, can you really say that you've been abusing it? It's kind of like the mom who slips her ADHD kid ADHD

[11:32] med like ADHD medication because he's really [ __ ] annoying and he won't kid doesn't know that he's taking Adderall. So, he's now just completely locked in at school. He's [ __ ] you know, acing every test. Can you really

[11:45] blame the kid for abusing Adderall when he doesn't even know that he's been situation that we're in right now. Now, granted, I'm sure a lot of people knew is, you know, why they were using it. And I'm also sure a lot of people didn't

[11:58] >> wouldn't believe me. But by the end of this video, you're going to see why it's the exact same cheats but under a different wrapping package. So, for all of you to understand this, I have to explain what a TMR stick is first of

[12:13] all. What you're looking at is a TMR joystick. One of the newer joysticks available to the market. Now, the way this works different from a normal joystick is it's based off magnetic sensors and magnetics itself. Whereas a

[12:27] standard joysticks of the old, way it senses movement is by friction and understand the downside to the traditional joysticks being that over time the friction will wear them down and will cause stick drift and them to

[12:43] wear out quickly over time. But the advantage of this TMR joystick is it doesn't rely on friction and rubbing and relies on magnetic sensors which theoretically can last for a lot longer and tend not to wear as quickly. They're

[12:55] not invincible. Don't believe the marketing BS. But they are fundamentally different and can last a lot longer than traditional joysticks. Although, they do need constant recalibration or it will have stick drift just like any other

[13:07] controller. It's not some Yeah, guys, if you've ever bought a controller from like Aim Controllers or if you've ever bought a controller um that has TMR sticks, they're not supposed to have stick drift. If you get the controller

[13:19] have stick drift, it either got uncalibrated during shipping, which is very common because it's moving around um a lot, especially across seas, or the didn't save. Like something happened. It's really easy to fix. There are so

[13:34] many re-ways to fix it on YouTube and on GitHub. So, if you ever buy a controller another sponsor, or you go on your own, you buy your own controller, and you have stick drift on a Hall effect or TMR stick, it's not supposed to do that. It

[13:47] in 5 minutes you can get rid of all your stick drift. So, just keep that in mind if you ever spend 200 bucks and now you're really mad. drift free joystick like some people like to say it is. But, one of the downsides of this stick is it

[14:01] relies on fine magnetic changes, right? And a lot of interference can happen like electrical noise, which causes the sensor to be like a little bit jittery. earlier, absolutely nothing like that, but it's not a perfectly smooth signal.

[14:17] So, when these are built, there's software built to smooth out that signal and make it more precise and less jittery, right? Which on paper is definitely a good thing. This is a great visual representation of what I'm trying

[14:29] to explain. As you can see, this looks relatively smooth, but you can see a little bit of jitter that will not be obvious at all in game. You will not be just a tiny bit of how sensitive this stick is. And what you can do, and is

[14:43] actually a good feature, is you can smooth that out. So, there's like absolutely no distortion, no little bouncing, and it's called an RC filter. On paper, a good thing so far, right? What you can see is here is if you drag

[14:58] of the way to the right, you're going to see the game receives a much smoother signal, which you would think, "Oh, everyone would use that. That would make smoother signal." That does have the downside of a little bit of delay as it

[15:12] smooths out one input to the other, but that wouldn't be noticeable. So, would be the smart thing to do, obviously not cheating. But, no. Nobody is doing this. What they are instead doing is increasing the noise, the

[15:28] artificial noise, and going to a negative, which is causing an insane jitter. Now, as you move this over to the left, you're going to see what what you're seeing right now would be similar to the extra aim assist. It's

[15:42] nothing too extreme. He hasn't maxed it out yet, but you'd be able to see a visual shake in game. That would be exactly the same as the Cronus extra aim do this with your own thumb. This is straight up

[15:57] basically what it's doing is it's just pushing your It's like giving a false around that much more. And because it's pushing around more, and because it's actually touching it, it's constantly reactivating your aim assist over and

[16:14] Now, another thing too, I just noticed this, if you add smoothing, it reduces the input delay, or rather it increases the input delay, so it adds lag between you and your inputs. But by actually reducing it, you're actually boosting

[16:27] you're reducing it. So, you're actually getting less delay. It's going to feel a lot more responsive at the cost of having your game shake a little bit. yourself with a normal controller. Wow, imagine giving yourself like two major

[16:41] and more aim assist. That's actually kind of crazy. This is a script to give Someone earlier was asking, is it worth buying a $200 that's really up to you. You can get like good controllers, like the GameSir

[16:55] controller, the Blitz 2 controller, for like 50 bucks, right? 75 bucks. Super like dirt cheap. TMR thumbsticks, digital triggers, the whole works. And that and like a custom controller is with a custom controller, you're going

[17:09] on like what brand you go with, right? So, for example, on Aim Controllers, the PS5 controllers, they come with digital triggers, and then there's a switch on goes to the full PS5 trigger. You know how like like extra resistance on the

[17:23] trigger to be more realistic to like a trigger pull on a gun. That comes with it. They also have like a stem thumbstick colors and face plate colors and button colors, and then you can get grips on the back and stuff. So, at the

[17:35] I will ever consider when it comes to buying a pro controller. One, what are the sticks? And two, what are the paddles? That are the That's the only thing I care about. Also, too, maybe the the latency, like what hurts? Is it a

[17:49] play eye? Is it like a 2K, 4K, 5K, 8K hertz controller? I guess really three >> [music] >> And does it have good latency? >> an advantage in a game, and as far as I'm concerned, this is a cheat. This is

[18:02] >> all the way maxed out. It just goes insane to the point where this would act like a recoil script and an extreme jitter. Like that's what the game is receiving. Nobody would be capable of doing that in real time on controller.

[18:17] And as far as I'm concerned, that is cheating. >> This is only going to be effective though up close. Like imagine you're at range and you're trying to shoot someone and your stick is literally like having

[18:29] an enemy or is you know, like that just wouldn't make any sense. cheating. >> if you're fighting up close with an SMG. >> how people can stand by this and say, "Oh, it's just a filter." Yeah, on one

[18:42] end when it smooths it, but if you're adding an artificial jitter to the game, artificial noise amplifying that, even though if the coding slightly different, the outcome is the same. This is a jitter mod. This is cheating. How is

[18:56] that so [ __ ] hard for some anime idiots on Twitter to understand? There are so many people upset about this getting banned when it's just a straight-up cheat that has been abused for the longest time now. And now that

[19:10] some official controllers have the ability to add a jitter if they think it's not cheating, they just fundamentally do not understand the source engine and why this abuse is not only unfair to people

[19:22] and is a cheat, but they wouldn't be able to do themselves without a software in game. Like unless you have like some crazy macro on your PC that can like open up the web tab, change like change the slider, and then like tab out in

[19:37] like a quarter of a second. Like I don't think there's any way that >> was on a lot of different controllers. And here you can see pro player's Hal's settings that he chose for this particular game. Keeping in mind he

[19:50] left stick. Now this is a stick that you don't aim with. So obviously he hasn't put any jitter to it. There's no advantage to having a jitter, so it's got no filtering applied at all. It's dead set in the center. Now it is his

[20:04] aim stick and look, he's got the jitter completely maxed out. Now some softwares call it an RC filter. They don't want it to make it look like it's Who on their to make it look like it's Who on their 2026 bucket list had Imperial Hal

[20:18] cheating, bro? Oh man. People used to give me [ __ ] cuz I used to tap strafe on controller. But in 2026 we have pro players who are using RC filters for >> cheating right? >> Wow. straight up saying jitter. It's

[20:46] >> green earth, he doesn't think a jitter is some advantage or cheat. But yes, IT WASN'T JUST HAL. IT WAS the majority of Japan and a lot of other pros that have been utilizing these software jitters for a while now, but now it's banned.

[21:22] That case screen looks like it's having an aneurysm. It's shaking so much. over amount of jitter, like the excess jitter is just throwing you off more

[23:01] controller. Right? Like, are you going to ban the use of TMR sticks? Because that is insane. Right? Imagine sending everybody back to the Stone Age, and now everybody has to play on like OG analog sticks. Holy, that's going to be awful.

[23:13] is going to win every skill tournament, like back in the day when Hal was playing, like triple triple MNK, and he won like what, five LANs back to back? players back to the Stone Age? Or are we going to like check like individual

[23:27] filters turned on? Right? Now, you're going to spend like an hour to like go through their controller settings on PC and make sure that like their [ __ ] filter. But, what if the person's playing with like a very like knockoff

[23:41] he's playing with like the Giga Brain Dad Mom controller. I've never heard not. But, this guy's playing with it. Are they going to go out of their way, download the Giga Brain Dad Mom controller, install the software, and

[23:54] an RC filter? Like, how do you How do you check all these controllers? How do you actually enforce this at a LAN? And then, how would you even enforce this in Apex, yeah, you can, you know, detect if someone's aimbotting or wall hacking or

[26:10] statement. Anyway, RC filters smooth the thumbstick signal, but can be manipulated to increase jitter and boost aim assist, right? Like the smoothing the jitter and the boost of aim assist, that's 100% a cheat. And they're

[26:23] basically What if they did this? Allowed cheats 100% when everyone cheats, no one has an advantage. Don't they do that in CS already, right? They like they have tournaments where like they'll give like one team wall hacks and then they'll

[28:07] examples that they give. It's shaking like crazy and then they smooth it out, right? Smoothing of the stick would effectively actually lessen your aim assist because you're not getting in as many inputs. Adding more jitter, adding

[28:19] assist because you're getting more inputs, there's more aim assist to be picked up on. But, overusing the jitter would just shake your [ __ ] all over the place. So, Hal is saying, "If you were to add the insane jitter, oh, I don't

[28:33] benefit. If anything, it's going to get in the way." Yeah, it probably will because you can't aim at long range and it's really only going to help up close. really weird example, this is the best way this is like the best example I can

[29:51] because it's giving you all those little micro corrections. But, going too much is just going to throw you off. So, Hal's saying, you know, it just gets in that way. You know, it's not that good. It's complete [ __ ] because you can

[30:06] make it work in your favor without giving yourself an STD and then chlamydia, right? So, this 100% does work. But, overusing it is just going to [ __ ] you in the long end. Moral of the story, wear a condom, practice safe sex,

[33:32] how broken this was until just recently. I have forever how long RC filters have been a thing for TMR controllers or however long TMR controllers have even probably doing this and we just never knew because it just wasn't a mainstream
