This video provides a comprehensive guide to making gold with the tailoring profession in World of Warcraft: Midnight. It covers the best profession equipment, specializations, and key crafts that will be profitable, including cooldown bolts, spell threads, and bags. The guide also discusses talent trees and optimal stat prioritization for maximum efficiency.
The video will show the best ways to make gold with tailoring, covering profession equipment, specializations, and money-making crafts.
Midnight tailoring is similar to War Within but removes the unraveling step; cloth is used directly to craft bolts.
Bright linen bolt is the basic bolt; imbued bright linen bolt is the upgraded version used for high-end gear.
Two cooldown bolts are expected to be highly demanded and a great source of passive income via concentration spending.
Gear crafts can be sold via crafting orders, and green profession gear can also be profitable.
Spell threads require many cooldown bolts and may be better to craft with concentration than cooldown bolts alone.
Bags are always in demand; cooldown bolts are used in higher-tier bags, while basic bags use imbued cloth.
Multicraft tools are best when multicraft impacts the craft; otherwise resourcefulness may be chosen. Tools should be enchanted and of top quality.
Recommend Sunfire or Arcano Weave specializations, then max out the tree to reduce cooldown recovery time.
Prioritize multicraft nodes, then resourcefulness. Fiber arts provide most stats; fashion genius is only for concentration builds.
Fabric specialist increases cloth drop chance by 1% per point, and also provides multicraft for midnight tailoring recipes.
Crafting imbued bright linen cloth at rank 2 guaranteed requires many nodes; expect a barrier to entry needing knowledge point farming.
Cooldown bolts, spell threads, bags, and gear crafting orders are the most profitable. Sunfire silk and arcane weave bolts are also strong.
Tailoring in Midnight offers multiple profitable avenues, especially through cooldown bolts and bags, but requires careful investment in knowledge points and optimal tool stats to maximize returns.

09:47[00:01] And in this video, I'm going to show you the best ways to make gold with tailoring. We're going to go through the best profession equipment, the best specializations, and also what crafts will be the real money makers. But
[00:15] before we continue, I just quickly want to say that I will have a completely free gold making spreadsheet for all crafting professions in Midnight in my community Discord. So, don't miss out on that. It's linked in the description
[00:28] below. So looking at tailoring in midnight, I think it's going to be an amazing profession and you will be able to make a lot of gold with it. If you play the war within, it is kind of the same structure as there, but we lost the
[00:41] part of unraveling, which is kind of a huge letdown for tailoring sadly, but I still think it's going to be a really good profession. Basically, unraveling was a step you made with a cloth to make them to spools, and then you use the
[00:55] spools to craft bolts. This time around you just instantly use the cloth instead of making them spools first. Looking at the basics here, we do have one bolt, bright linen bolt. It is kind of the basic bolts that going into some crafts.
[01:10] Then we have further bolt which is the imbued bright linen bolt which is kind of the upgraded bolt which will be used in those high-end crafting gear and stuff like that. So it is going to have a great demand. And we also do have the
[01:24] two cooldown bolts. These two cooldown bolts was kind of a letdown in the war within, but for midnight, I think this is looking insanely nice. I think this is going to be the best alt army crafting profession that you can both
[01:37] spend your concentration on and make those cooldown bolts, making you a lot of passive income. So, I highly recommend checking out tailoring if you want to do some kind of alt army stuff as well. The demand of these coolown
[01:49] bolts just looks really, really high in this expansion and I think they're going it's going to be staying really, really good for a long, long time this time around. Then, of course, we have all of the different gear crafts here and also
[02:02] which is going to be amazing for crossrem selling if you're into that. You also, of course, have the high-end epic gear that you can sell to people via crafting orders, which also is a money-making method if you're into that.
[02:15] as well. You can also kind of make gold with if you want to do the crafting the green profession gear. You have spell threads as well. And here already we can see a lot of those cooldown bolts is getting in here. Eight for each
[02:30] spell threads here is going to have a good demand as well for a long time. So spending your concentration here instead of the cooldown bolts might be the way to go as well. Or just mass crafting these spell threads as well cuz I think
[02:43] around cuz in the war within they weren't either the best to craft. Then of course we have the lovely bags as tailoring always brings. This is going to be better than you think as well. Selling. I did sell a lot of bags in the
[02:57] performed and I think it's going to be great this time around. And as we can see once again, the cooldown bolts are used here as well in both of the bags. But then you have the more basic bag using those imbued bright linen clo and
[03:10] no cool down bolts for the 36 slot bag. So I think selling bags will also be going to be a little bit different depending on what your plan is to do. If going to want to have a multicraft tool. If you're going to do the spell threads
[03:25] the multicraft tool. But for example, if you're going to do crafting orders, gear want to have a tool with resourcefulness. Don't forget to enchant them as well. That is really, really important. But the basics is if you can
[03:38] see the multicraft here in the crafting details, multicraft is impacting the craft and multicraft is always going to be outperforming resourcefulness. So, if you see multicraft here, get your multicraft tool because it's going to be
[03:50] resourcefulness. And the accessories, worry about that. But just make sure that you're getting the top quality of every profession equipment that you can. So, you don't settle with a lower rank
[04:03] or something cuz you want to minmax your stats completely. So, looking at the be a little bit different, but for the cooldown crafting, you're going to need Basically, here is where you unlock the cooldown crafts and make them faster. If
[04:17] you are planning to go into cooldown crafting, my recommendation is to go Sunfire or the Arcano Weave. I'm not think it will be quite even. And then try to max that out. Maybe that will
[04:31] think if you're setting up a character for the cooldown bolts, I think you're going to want to go into this tree and max it out on the bottom here to get faster recovery time for your bolts. Then after you have gotten these three
[04:43] arts, which is going to give you all of your stats. Basically, you're going to want to prioritize getting these nodes for your cooldown alt crafts. But for bother with the nimble needle work. You want to come into the fiber arts because
[04:58] fiber arts is where the majority of your stats is going to come from. The top node is just going to give you a little bit of skill and a little bit of stats. this tree, but you kind of have to get it right. The biggest priority here if
[05:12] multiccraft is getting multicraft tree mandatory. So make sure you get this one first. Then you want to get the resourcefulness tree sorted as well to get max resourcefulness. And if you're
[05:25] going to want to get this node as well for some extra stats and also for some craft them at rank two. And of course the fiber arts main node you're kind of passively going to get while you level up the other ones because you have to
[05:39] put points in here. However, you don't need the fashion genius because this one is only giving you ingenuity. So, this is only if you do the concentration that otherwise you do not. But still, with the cooldown bolts, if you're into that,
[05:52] I think prioritizing multicraft should be your number one priority. This node gives you crafting speed, which might be important because you might not be able to like max it out without having this node. However, prioritizing stats first
[06:06] is going to always be the best. So getting this, it's kind of a low priority. [music] Looking at the other talent specializations here, it is a little bit interesting because usually you only have one tree giving you a lot
[06:19] of stats. But here we also have the fabric specialist. The fabric specialist is the way you want to go if you want to use tailoring for passively dropping cloth when you're killing mobs. So, if you choose tailoring to have like when
[06:31] leveling or do the campaign or something or if you just want to passively gain tailoring cloth farm, you're going to want to put notes into fabric specialist cuz this gives you 1% drop chance to find cloth in midnight zones for every
[06:45] point in this specialization. So, you're going to want to max this out if this is your thing, like if you want to passively gain cloth when leveling or when just out in the world doing stuff. But here, interestingly enough, you get
[06:59] multicraft in this node down here in the other worldly cloth. You gain one multicraft when crafting any midnight tailoring recipe per point in this specialization. So, this one is going to be really important to rush as well. It
[07:12] is however also going to increase the drops of cloth that you get. So, it's kind of a weird note honestly. It both gives you crafting stats, but also gives you higher quality cloth drops and more cloth to drop. So really important even
[07:26] if you're into crafting and not dropping, but still very important if you're into the dropping build as well. The bottom left is kind of the same here. You're going to have the ingenuity node. So it depends on which way you go.
[07:38] want to end up here as well. But this one gives you cloth drops more often in Everson Woods and Sulamon. So it's basically the Eastern Kingdom's cloth or the other worldly cloth. The right one you choose Rootlands and Voidlands and
[07:51] the left one you choose Everson Woods and Sulamon. But the left one is completely useless if you go into like mass crafting cuz it's only going to resourcefulness and that's going to be very low priority. So the tailoring tree
[08:05] way more points this time around that you need if you want to minmax all of your stats for crafting which is making it very interesting. And also the imbued bright linen cloth here has a high skill ceiling. So you actually need a lot of
[08:20] the nodes here to be able to craft the imbued bright linen cloth at rank two guaranteed. So this is probably not going to be happening in the beginning able to craft this. I think they will have to wait for a little bit and gain
[08:35] knowledge points before you can guarantee craft this with quality 2 even with the full quality two mats and best tools. So, it's looking very interesting and staying consistent, gaining knowledge points until you can craft
[08:47] this guaranteed quality too might be really good for you because maybe a lot of competition drops off by then because the barrier is a little bit you kind of before you can max it out. I think this has a potential to be a great like mass
[09:01] crafting thing to do a few weeks into the expansion. Basically, the synindor finery here on the left is basically for crafting gear for other people or yourself. So, I'm not going to go deep into this here. You probably know better
[09:17] order person. I don't really craft the gear in this way. So, I totally skip everything else. But basically, here is where you put your nodes if you want to people. Here, for example, you craft boots, gloves, hats, and so on. So I
[09:34] think that is it about the profession knowledge tree here in tailoring. It's a little bit more messy I think than other professions, but that also makes it nice. A little bit maybe of a barrier to entry and maybe some more profits.
[09:47] Looking at the crafts that I think will be the real money makers in tailoring. We of course have all of the different bolts here. The bright linen bolt is probably not going to make you the most profit per craft, but maybe it will be
[10:01] okay. But I think you mostly will be crafting this to make your own cloths into the imbued bright linen ball to be able to craft them for cheaper and sell them for more profit. Then of course you have the sunfire silk and arcade weave
[10:14] bolt that is the Kodan crafts that is going to be very very strong if you're into that kind of thing. And I also think the spell threads will be quite while and we will see where they end up. But since they're using the bolts and
[10:27] this one is looking quite spicy [music] and maybe even more spicy for concentration crafting. And the bags, the lovely bags, I love them. I think going to be able to make a lot of gold with bags throughout the entire
[10:41] expansion. This is always kind of a nice gold maker and I'm really looking get some new decor recipes. I don't really talk about them in this videos, but they also use the colum bolts and I think they will be selling really good
