AI Summary

This video explains YouTube SEO (Search Engine Optimization) for ranking videos higher. The creator, Adarsh, uses an example of a cake-making video to demonstrate how YouTube's algorithm analyzes thumbnails, titles, descriptions, and video content to verify authenticity and promote transparent, non-clickbait content. Key tips include matching your video content with your title, using relevant tags and seasonal keywords, and focusing on low-competition, high-search topics.

Introduction to YouTube SEO

The video introduces the concept of SEO (Search Engine Optimization) specifically for YouTube, aiming to help videos rank on the top of search results.

[1:48]
Search Example: 'How to Make a Cake'

[3:11]
Analyzing a Top-Ranking Video

The title 'Cake Making at Home, Oreo Cake in Pressure Cooker, Chocolate Oreo Cake Special Cake Recipe Navratri' is analyzed. The thumbnail shows the actual cake-making process, which YouTube's AI uses to verify the video's content matches its title and description.

[5:20]
AI Verification of Content

YouTube's AI reads text in the video (e.g., 'Oreo' on biscuits) and checks if the video shows what the title claims (e.g., Oreo biscuits, pressure cooker). This ensures the video is not clickbait, as YouTube promotes only authentic content to maintain user trust and ad revenue.

[8:56]
Tags and Seasonal Keywords

Tags like 'Navratri cake' help the video appear in searches for related festivals, even if users are not specifically looking for cake tutorials. This increases reach and ranking potential.

[10:30]
Competition and Optimization Tips

The creator advises focusing on low-competition, high-search topics, optimizing titles and tags, and timing uploads with seasons or trends. He notes that YouTube is now highly competitive, unlike in 2017, so careful optimization is essential.

To rank on YouTube, creators must ensure their video content matches the title, description, and tags, avoid clickbait, and use seasonal or low-competition keywords. YouTube's AI verifies authenticity to promote trustworthy videos, so transparency is key to success.

[00:00] So, hello everyone. Welcome back to

[00:02] another video. So, I am Adarsh and in

[00:04] today's video, we are going to learn

[00:06] about SEO, which is search engine

[00:08] optimization.

[00:09] So, the search engine here is YouTube

[00:11] and we're going to optimize we're going

[00:13] to learn optimize your videos on YouTube

[00:14] so that they can easily rank on the top

[00:16] of the page. So, uh suppose if you've

[00:19] created videos on a particular topic and

[00:21] you want your videos to be shown on the

[00:23] top of the first page list of YouTube,

[00:25] so how do you do that? So, for that you

[00:28] need to do some sort of things, some

[00:30] sort of research and a proper way to

[00:33] upload videos and a proper things which

[00:36] you need to make uh or take care of

[00:37] while you upload videos or while you

[00:39] create video or while you create your

[00:41] thumbnail. Okay. So, first of all, what

[00:43] we are going to do is we'll be first

[00:45] opening YouTube so that we get a quick

[00:47] brief of how things work over here.

[00:49] Okay.

[00:50] So, now let's open our engine. So, this

[00:52] is uh this is a search engine. So, this

[00:55] is a search box and now, as you can see,

[00:58] this is a basic recommendation of the

[01:00] home page. This recommends me a few

[01:03] things over here which I likely to

[01:05] watch. Okay. So, now let's move on top

[01:08] and now let's see that uh how the

[01:11] optimization of the search engine

[01:13] YouTube works. Okay. So, now

[01:16] you must have created videos on many

[01:18] sort of topics because uh I don't know

[01:20] what your niche is, but you must be

[01:22] knowing. So, you must have seen that

[01:24] your video is not getting much views,

[01:26] much engagement and possibly they are

[01:28] lying down and it's around two, three or

[01:31] four years and there's no reach, so you

[01:33] are sad probably sad and discontinued to

[01:35] make videos. So, what do not. Let's see

[01:37] how things work so that you can again

[01:39] continue with your work and probably get

[01:41] good subscribers, likes and comments and

[01:44] proper engagement as you really wanted.

[01:47] Okay.

[01:48] So, let's see. So, here is a search box.

[01:51] So, as you can see, here is a video of a

[01:53] photo of a cake. So, now let's search

[01:55] about how to make a cake. Okay. So, for

[01:58] example, this is just an example. So, I

[01:59] don't know what your niche is. So, for

[02:01] example, we're going to take out Let's

[02:03] see about cooking. Okay. So, how to make

[02:06] a cake.

[02:07] Okay. So, for example, let's search how

[02:09] to make a cake. And as you can see,

[02:12] there are plenty of results over here.

[02:14] So,

[02:15] these are just the shorts videos. So, I

[02:17] always recommend a new creator never to

[02:20] move on to shorts because there's hardly

[02:22] any revenue on shorts. Now, let's move

[02:23] back. And as you can see, there are two

[02:25] videos.

[02:26] So, as you can see,

[02:28] the first video, which is ranking on

[02:30] this page on the keyword how to make a

[02:32] cake for So, this is just an example. As

[02:34] I said earlier, your keyword can be uh

[02:37] playing Clash Royale, playing uh PUBG

[02:39] Mobile, or playing any game, or whatever

[02:42] sort of niche you have, okay? So, we are

[02:44] just talking about cooking over here

[02:45] because this is just an example, okay?

[02:47] So, the first video over here is

[02:49] three-ingredient Oreo cake tutorial

[02:51] shorts, okay? So, we are not going to

[02:52] look on shorts. So, okay. So, as you see

[02:55] here,

[02:57] it says

[02:59] Okay. So, let's move over here. As you

[03:02] can As you can see here, cake making at

[03:04] home, Oreo cake in pressure cooker,

[03:06] chocolate Oreo cake special cake recipe

[03:08] Kalratri, okay? So, this is the title.

[03:11] So, let's open our notepad.

[03:12] This is our notepad. Now, we are going

[03:14] to analyze a few things why this is on

[03:17] top and why not the other videos are on

[03:19] top. Let's click over here.

[03:21] Okay.

[03:22] So,

[03:23] Okay, we are going [crying] to

[03:24] wait over here.

[03:31] Okay.

[03:32] So,

[03:33] I don't know why these ads are so long

[03:35] cuz these are useless sort of things I

[03:38] never watch.

[03:40] Okay. So, finally the ad has ended,

[03:43] okay?

[03:43] Ad has ended, okay? So, this Okay, so,

[03:46] this is the title of our YouTube video.

[03:50] Let's copy this title over here,

[03:52] which says cake making at home. Okay, so

[03:54] now we're going to copy

[03:57] As you can see, this is everything what

[04:00] we need over here. Okay, so this let's

[04:03] copy this

[04:04] hashtags too.

[04:06] We're not going to use it.

[04:08] Just to analyze these things. As you see

[04:10] over here.

[04:12] Okay, so cake making at home. So as you

[04:14] can see from the thumbnail of the video

[04:16] over here,

[04:17] the thumbnail clearly shows that the

[04:20] process is

[04:21] about the making of the cake. So that

[04:23] the Basically, what happens is whenever

[04:25] you create a thumbnail and upload it for

[04:27] your video, the algorithm of YouTube or

[04:30] the AI of YouTube starts to analyze what

[04:32] your thumbnail is. So as you see the

[04:33] picture, the first picture or the cover

[04:35] photo of your video, it has deep impacts

[04:38] on how your video will work in future.

[04:40] Because if that video is not related to

[04:42] what you have made inside the video or

[04:44] if it's not the same thing what is being

[04:46] shown, then there are high chances that

[04:48] your video will fall out of engagement.

[04:50] Okay, so as you can see, this part is

[04:52] actually somewhere in this video and

[04:54] this literally shows that the cake is

[04:56] being made because this is clear over

[04:59] here. Okay. And it says Oreo cake in

[05:01] pressure cooker as and special cake

[05:04] recipe in Marathi. Okay, so now let's

[05:06] hit it over here and let's see.

[05:08] Okay.

[05:10] So as you can see, these are the Oreo

[05:12] biscuits

[05:13] and

[05:15] most

[05:17] Okay.

[05:18] Okay, so as you can see,

[05:20] it's written O R E O Oreo so

[05:23] just because Oreo's written over here,

[05:26] this part plays a very super important

[05:29] role over here. The AI of YouTube can

[05:32] will grab the video, can understand the

[05:33] video and can eventually read the video

[05:36] what's written over here. So it can

[05:37] really identify that this biscuit is an

[05:40] Oreo biscuit because Oreo's written over

[05:43] here. So it can analyze the video and it

[05:45] can analyze the things going on inside

[05:47] the video and if it's really a real or

[05:50] not. So, if this video is a clickbaited

[05:52] video, it will never never push the

[05:54] video. But, as you can see that it say

[05:56] said that Oreo cake in pressure cooker.

[05:58] Okay, so Oreo biscuits are being used

[06:00] here. So, to in order to verify that

[06:02] what the creator is telling is truth or

[06:04] not. It is matching the title with the

[06:07] video and as you can see there are high

[06:09] proofs in the video that what the title

[06:11] says is completely true. So, as you can

[06:13] see Oreo biscuits are real there. So,

[06:15] you have to show things what you

[06:16] mentioned in your title or description

[06:18] in order to understand or in order to

[06:20] YouTube algorithm to understand and

[06:21] trust your project, whatever you are

[06:22] making okay?

[06:24] So, things are really very transparent

[06:26] over here.

[06:27] Now, let's look for the pressure cooker.

[06:30] Okay.

[06:32] Okay, that's fine. So, as you can see

[06:35] uh

[06:36] So, this is pressure cooker over here

[06:38] and now algorithm YouTube can understand

[06:40] that the cake is being made in the

[06:42] pressure cooker. Once things are done,

[06:45] now as you can see this is a pressure

[06:47] cooker and once the video is analyzed by

[06:49] YouTube, once it's it is analyzing the

[06:52] video, it is easily able to understand

[06:54] that this is an image of a pressure

[06:56] cooker and the chocolate cake uh

[06:58] whatever it's making the

[07:00] mixture has been put inside this

[07:02] pressure cooker in order to create the

[07:04] cake. So,

[07:06] actually the AI is much more intelligent

[07:09] than what we think. So, it is able to

[07:11] analyze and understand the video and

[07:13] eventually mixing uh in and eventually

[07:17] compare it with the title and

[07:18] description of the video to understand

[07:20] if the things going inside the video is

[07:23] the same as shown outside the video like

[07:25] on the title description and hashtag.

[07:27] It's trying to match if everything is

[07:28] completely true or not. So, that the

[07:31] viewers uh who watch the video on the

[07:33] top does not get uh like uh they don't

[07:36] think that they have been clickbaited

[07:37] and they are they are watching the wrong

[07:40] result. If they are watching the wrong

[07:41] result, they'll never come back to

[07:43] YouTube and then they'll not give time

[07:44] on YouTube, they'll not watch ads, and

[07:46] if they don't watch ads, the revenue of

[07:48] YouTube and YouTubers will be

[07:51] comparatively down, and that will be a

[07:53] cons for YouTube. So,

[07:56] just because of that, YouTube tries each

[07:58] and everything to promote videos which

[08:00] are really true, which are really legit,

[08:02] and they always verify if the things

[08:05] going inside the video are really uh

[08:08] true or not. So, try to make your video

[08:10] transparent, clear, and show all the

[08:12] points whatever you have mentioned in

[08:13] your title and description. Don't try to

[08:15] hide anything because if you're doing

[08:17] so, you are not trying to fool YouTube

[08:19] algorithm, you're trying to fool

[08:20] yourself because it will not push your

[08:21] video if it does not have much facts

[08:24] whatever you have written in your title

[08:25] and description. So, now

[08:27] as you can see, special cake recipe

[08:29] Navratri. So, cooker has been shown,

[08:31] cake has been shown over here, and at

[08:34] the end, you can see

[08:36] the cake is ready,

[08:38] and [music] this process, whatever

[08:40] everything whatever was mentioned is

[08:42] shown in this video, which verifies the

[08:45] authentic authenticity of this video.

[08:47] Okay.

[08:53] >> [clears throat]

[08:55] [snorts]

[08:56] >> Okay, so these are the tags, okay?

[08:59] Cake while Navratri cake Navratri is in

[09:02] there in the title,

[09:04] >> [snorts]

[09:04] >> and Navratri special well and now one

[09:07] more reason why this there has been a

[09:09] proper show in this video because

[09:11] there it has been mentioned that welcome

[09:13] Navratri cake. Okay.

[09:16] And Navratri cake, and in the title also

[09:18] Navratri cake. So, this thing can also

[09:21] push the video when there's special

[09:23] festival or something uh about which

[09:25] people are searching a lot on YouTube.

[09:27] So, even if they're not searching about

[09:29] cake and even if it's not and if it's

[09:31] Navratri or any type of festival, so

[09:33] even if they're not talking about the

[09:35] cake or searching about the cake, then

[09:37] but still this video can be recommended

[09:39] to the people who are searching on

[09:40] Navratri or there's

[09:43] festival, then the type of tags you are

[09:46] keeping, these videos can be recommended

[09:49] to the people. So, this is basically a

[09:51] cooking video. So, if I'm searching

[09:52] about uh

[09:54] how to do rituals of Navratri or do

[09:56] Navratri Puja,

[09:57] and this video is recommended to me even

[09:59] though if I'm not looking for the cake

[10:02] creating tutorial, still this video can

[10:04] be recommended. And if I watch this

[10:05] video, eventually the reach of this

[10:06] video will increase and slowly the push

[10:08] will increase and the video will be

[10:10] shown on top. So, this is how things can

[10:12] work. So, if you work on proper season,

[10:15] if you work on proper time, if you

[10:16] create a proper content with what

[10:19] YouTube

[10:20] looks for for you, then there are highly

[10:23] chances that you'll end up ranking your

[10:25] getting your videos ranked on top of the

[10:27] algorithm.

[10:30] Okay, so these are the few things which

[10:31] you have to take care of while creating

[10:34] the videos so that your video get a

[10:35] proper push.

[10:36] Otherwise, it can become very difficult

[10:39] for you to rank on this platform because

[10:41] things are really hard right now because

[10:44] this is not 2017 YouTube where videos

[10:47] were very less about any sort of topic

[10:49] on YouTube so that you can get

[10:51] more chance to rank your videos because

[10:54] this this is a competitive time. And

[10:56] whatever topic you choose, there are

[10:57] already more than millions of videos on

[11:00] that type of topic. So, when you upload

[11:03] your same video on same topic, then

[11:05] there are very less chances that your

[11:07] video will be ranked because your videos

[11:08] will be

[11:10] uh somewhere uh dumped around those 7

[11:13] million, 8 million, or 10 million

[11:15] between those 10 million or 12 million

[11:17] videos. So, it will become very

[11:19] difficult for you to your video to be

[11:21] ranked on the top. So, try to make or

[11:23] create content or keep title according

[11:26] to your videos in a way which has very

[11:30] and competition and high search result.

[11:33] High search result in the terms mean

[11:35] write the title according to the need of

[11:38] the user. Like look for the title which

[11:41] is searched by many people, but the

[11:43] videos on that title is very less. So,

[11:45] the lesser the videos on such topic, the

[11:49] lesser the competition. The higher the

[11:50] video on the topic you're creating

[11:52] video, the higher the competition. So,

[11:53] try to make sure that the videos uh

[11:57] uh what you're making on uh have less

[12:00] competition, or try to optimize your

[12:02] title

[12:04] tags, or try to use proper time

[12:06] according to the season. Okay? So, these

[12:09] are a few things which you need to take

[12:10] care of, and there are nothing There's

[12:13] nothing much difficult while creating

[12:15] videos and posting it on YouTube. If you

[12:17] take care of such small things, things

[12:19] will really work according to how you

[12:22] do. Okay? So, on This is only for today.

[12:25] I was just free, so I thought of

[12:26] creating videos, and uh

[12:28] Okay, so I have to finish my rest of the

[12:31] work which I have. And I have to uh

[12:34] fulfill some of my other jobs, too. So,

[12:37] I'll go right now and do it. So, I had

[12:39] time, so I thought of why not to create

[12:41] an informative video and post it,

[12:42] because my channel was getting dormant.

[12:44] So, instead of letting it get dormant,

[12:47] why not to post something and

[12:50] let it keep alive. Okay? So, bye for

[12:52] now.

[12:53] I hope to see you in next video whenever

[12:56] I post, and I hope you guys will support

[12:58] me next video, too.

[13:00] So, okay. This is all for today. Bye.

[13:04] Yeah, so let me just end this session of

[13:05] this Bandicam. Okay, thank you. Bye-bye.
