▶ Play Clip"The title promises a simple technique, but the video is mostly lifestyle vlog with only a brief trade breakdown."
A day trader shares his lifestyle of trading from anywhere, demonstrating a simple breakout scalp strategy on the 5-minute chart. He emphasizes the importance of direction, volume, and treating breakout trades as quick scalps, while also discussing the value of learning from others and backtesting.
Trading offers time freedom, allowing him to work from anywhere with Wi-Fi, unlike traditional online jobs that require an office.
He identifies a weak market and takes a breakout trade, looking for a quick continuation and a 1:1 scalp.
He makes $3,100 for the day, covering his two-day getaway, and exits quickly, emphasizing the importance of not overtrading.
He bases his direction on the 5-minute chart, treating the market as bearish intraday despite a bullish daily trend, and looks for trend line breaks and supply zones.
He explains that not all trades are holds; breakout trades are treated as quick scalps, while pullback trades may be held longer for more reward.
He advises against learning trading entirely on your own, calling it the lowest form of learning, and recommends learning from someone experienced.
His daily routine: use the 5-minute chart for direction, identify support/demand levels, and look for confirmation with candlesticks or volume.
He avoids top-down analysis because a single daily candle can be a downtrend on the 5-minute chart, and he only scalps, so he keeps it simple.
He emphasizes backtesting as the best way to understand the market, calling it 'your gym' for practice.
He encourages viewers to treat themselves without waiting for a special occasion, as he did with his spontaneous trip.
The video showcases a simple yet effective trading approach focused on 5-minute direction and quick scalps, while also promoting a balanced lifestyle and the importance of continuous learning and backtesting.

16:24[00:15] listen. The beauty of trading is time freedom. Okay, so basically I woke up yesterday. I was trading and while I was trading something just hit me. I'm like, man, I don't want to be home. So, I
[00:28] decided to go somewhere in Florida, right, for two days. right, for two days. And I'm chilling in a hotel for two days And I'm chilling in a hotel for two days just because. Okay. So,
[00:42] usually people that work online, so sometimes they could maybe work at home or something like that. But if you're successful online, if you're not doing successful online, if you're not doing trading, but you're successful online,
[00:55] eight out of 10 times you have a an office, okay? And you have an office and basically you still have, you know, a place you have
[01:07] still have, you know, a place you have to go to every single day and sit down. The beauty of trading, you don't have to do that. I can go anywhere, right? Yes, I'm online, but I can go anywhere as long as I have Wi-Fi. Okay, so right
[01:22] here, I decide to go. Okay, and you know, I'm basically, you know, at a hotel, the beach uh view, and I'm about to go to a pool later on. Okay. And
[01:34] basically, I am just relaxing, I am just relaxing, right? It's just more a relaxed type of vibe. I wasn't even going to record this. I I don't you know I said let me
[01:47] probably feel like recording when I get home. So I wasn't even going to record this cuz I was going to just relax. This is more relaxing. I just got out the house. But basically what I'm trying to say is this is the beauty of trading.
[02:01] You can go anywhere. Okay. So I'm going to show you guys the trade I took this morning and um break it down for you guys. The strategy I use pretty much. And after that, I don't know, probably relax, go to the pool, whatever, the
[02:15] trade. All right, so basically, I'm about to eat my breakfast real quick. Uh, finished my breakfast. Uh, didn't eat all of it, but I see a trade going eat all of it, but I see a trade going on right now, guys. And basically,
[02:28] um, this trade is looking good cuz the market is weak. So, I'm looking to take this break right here. Volume is coming in the market and I'm just looking for a quick continuation. Uh nothing too crazy. Hopefully just be a quick one uh
[02:44] you know onetoone scalp. So this is like a breakout uh breakouts. I take breakouts but it's not like you know you know it's not my favorite. I I love u this is what the market is giving me right now. So right now um I'm about to
[03:01] get in the market. You're about to see right now and it's hitting my well almost hit it. It's going to hit it right now. So, I'm looking for it to break the low and once it breaks the low, we are in
[03:16] the market. Okay. And overall, the market is weak. Um, I I kind of figured today Oh, there. Okay, we in. So, I kind of figured today was going to be weak. And that's actually a a nice break. Let me add little maybe one more. Not yet.
[03:29] Not yet. So, you know, I thought today was going to be weak. Um was going to be weak. Um you know because yesterday was week two. you know because yesterday was week two. Um overall the market been basically
[03:45] um it been um you know strong but yesterday was a weak day and I kind of felt like all right today might be that day where it's going to be weak again too. So anyway right now I'm in this short keep
[04:00] everything is looking good. Oh, boom. There we go. There we go. We out, bro. I everything looking good." And that was it. Boom. Quick scout done for the day. This day paid for the whole Well, pay for everything actually. So, basically,
[04:16] I'm up what? I don't know. What is this? 3,000 3100 for the day. So, 3,100 pay for my little two-day getaway. All right. Um, and I'm done, guys. Let's get
[04:30] it. And this is, you know, this the beauty of this. Basically, be able to trade the market, understand the market, understand um what's going on. Um you So, let me explain the trade real quick so you guys can understand my thought
[04:46] process. So, overall, you know, um right here, I'm I was looking at the market, here, I'm I was looking at the market, right? And basically um and you know I'm but definitely this is a good area where you know the market basically might you
[05:00] know reverse. So this nice little supply area right here. But overall my thought process was I was looking at this day right and I'm looking at the direction. I I mainly you know look at the fiveminute direction. The fiveminute
[05:13] direction was telling me that it's looking like a reversal market. Um again remember I remember I told you guys before that uh the market it changed different states and I'm looking at these different states. So to me this is
[05:26] like a reversal state where even though it looks bullish if you look at the the know what head and shoulders possibility right and I'm looking at this and I'm like okay and what I saw in the morning was a nice little trend line break and
[05:42] I'm like okay yeah this looks bearish. Okay, this looks bearish. So, I'm going to basically treat it like a bearish market. Even though, even though it's bullish on daily chart, 4 hour, I'm going to treat it like it's a, you know,
[05:57] bearish market because I'm a day trader. I trade the intraday trend. So, the intraday will basically tell me um, you know, um, my direction. So when we had
[06:12] that selloff, okay, uh I was treating this like a strong trend days. Um shout out to all my masterclass students. Uh but I was basically treating this like a strong trend day where this market was just basically going straight down and I
[06:27] continuation. Uh let's go to the one minute chart because I actually went to the one minute chart and uh you know a lot of selling going on, a lot of volume looking for that break or that low. That's it for a quick scout for a quick
[06:40] one to one and that was it. All right. quick scout because guess what? We shot right back up. Now, I truly believe that we might still uh maybe react to this or
[06:53] if we don't react to the supply, we could react to anywhere around here where we had that trend line break. Uh, so that's definitely could be another area where, you know, shorts might come in. But, um, overall, um, this is what
[07:06] looking at. um when I was taking the trade. So right here I took that quick trade. So right here I took that quick break to the downside um and uh it was a quick scalp one to one and and this is where I you know again when that dynamic
[07:21] where I you know again when that dynamic risk managing comes in place um you know where you understand the market, understand when to take quick scalps and understand when to hold. Okay. Now, to me, every trade is not a hold. Um,
[07:39] and some trades are holds. Okay? To me, this was a quick scalp because overall, the market is still bullish. So, I still have to be careful with shorts and maybe treat shorts like a a you know, a quick scalp. And plus, this was a breakout
[07:54] trade. And usually my breakout trades, I treat them like quick scalps. Um, if this was mainly if this was like a a trade where let's say we pull all the way back to here. Uh, let me, you know, let's say we pull all the way back to
[08:07] here and maybe I caught something around here. Maybe I will hold this a little bit longer because we can probably go to the low. So, that would probably be a little bit more reward. But, this is a quick scout for me and I'm done. Now, we
[08:22] are reacting to the supply zone uh that I drew. So overall, uh this is a lovely trade. Um I'm done for the day, but to me, I would man I I wanted to take this
[08:34] trade. I'm not going to lie to you. This would been another winner for me. But I'm good. You know, I don't want to over, you know, stay my welcome and I just want to just relax. I I told you guys I'm I'm I'm you know I took a
[08:49] two-day uh vacation so I don't want to mess up my vacation by thinking about oh man why did I overtrade why did I took this trade and I already had profits but this is a high quality trade in my opinion it looks like it's going to go
[09:04] and this is could be another scalp to the downside I think we're going to basically it looks like we're going to create a new low um you know and then maybe go down some more. We will see. But again, I'm not I'm not touching
[09:18] this. I'm done. Probably go to the mall later on. But I just want to explain you guys my my process, my thought process today, the strategy I use um you know,
[09:30] on a daily basis and then uh we go from there. But overall, that that was that trade and uh you know, that's pretty much it. So guys, I'm at the pool right now about to take a quick swim. Um the other trade I was talking about, it was
[09:42] ain't take that trade. It might work out, but it's taking forever. That first trade was a quick pop to the downside. 4 minutes and I'm done. So now I can, you minutes and I'm done. So now I can, you know, enjoy my day. So basically, um,
[09:57] take a quick swim. Um, I don't know. I might see what what the beach is about, might see what what the beach is about, you know. Let's see. Pretty much um
[10:09] know. We'll see. We'll see. We'll see. But, um, I'm going to take a quick swim first. And basically, throughout, I guess throughout the video, maybe I talk about a couple of
[10:24] things that you need to understand. Um, but I I guess the first thing is when it comes to trading, guys, you should not reinvent the wheel. Trading is not trying to be the the next Jeff Bezos. It's not. It's literally trying, you
[10:39] It's not. It's literally trying, you know, it's literally learning from know, it's literally learning from someone that's doing it and then, you know, maybe adding on to that or whatever because
[10:51] trying to just reinvent the wheel and try and do your own, man, you're going try and do your own, man, you're going to basically create a lot of bad habits. You have to understand learning by yourself is the lowest form of learning.
[11:05] different stages of learning and that's the lowest form of learning. Learning trying to learn on your own, you know. Um, honestly, that took that's another just trying to piece things together, you know. Um, but yeah, basically,
[11:22] please try not to learn on your own. I'm at the beach right now. I'm probably going to basically go there later, but right now I'm just going to go to the to the pool. But yeah, guys, learning on your own is the lowest form of learning.
[11:38] It's going to take forever. Um, I wouldn't recommend it. So, I came back from the pool. It was relaxing. But check this out. We ba, you know, remember that basically uh that supply zone I was
[11:52] talking about earlier, guys? Look at this, man. Listen, if I wasn't on this trip, I would definitely took that trade. The only reason why I didn't take the trade is because I didn't want to deal with, you
[12:05] know, I I I already had profits. So, I'm like, "Okay, let me just enjoy my day." home, I would take that trade and I'll probably be up um I don't know, maybe probably be up um I don't know, maybe five to 6K for the day. But, you know,
[12:22] five to 6K for the day. But, you know, again, it goes back to guys, stop trying to learn on yourself. You know, stop trying to learn by yourself. That's the lowest form of learning. Learn from someone that's actually doing this and
[12:36] me quickly break down my strategy again so you can understand this before I get something to eat because I'm hungry. So, what I do every single day, guys, is it's very simple, okay? Um, I do everything on the five minutes. So,
[12:49] right here, um, this is a fivem minute trend. So, I'm always looking for direction. Everything is direction first. That's the foundation. Okay? I want to see what the market is doing so I can prepare myself. Now let's say for
[13:04] example I think it's trending but all of a sudden it start to break down break support. I you know I will change my bias but I have to have some type of direction for the day. Now once I see okay let's say the market is trending
[13:19] a support level right here. So the market could stop right here right or it a demand level right here and the market could react right here. Okay. So, I'm looking for some reactions around these levels. Now, after that, um you can look
[13:34] for maybe confirmation to get in maybe with a candlestick, maybe with um some volume. Uh lately, I've been using volume on the one minute chart, but you you can just use, you know, five minute confirmations, double a double test um,
[13:49] you know, a strong bar coming out of that support or um, you know, demand level and basically I'm looking for uh, you know, either a quick scalp or maybe a 1 to2, one to three or so on. Okay. Um, so let me show you, you know, a
[14:04] quick example of a trade that I took recently. So right here, this is a trade I took recently, guys. Right. So the market was bullish to the upside. So overall, you know, um you look at this market um was bullish. So we was
[14:16] breaking up to the upside and I'm looking for a pullback. So right here, I was looking at this uh on a one minute chart. So let me break that down real quick. So this one minute chart, we shot up right here and it was like flagging a
[14:29] little bit. So I'll just took that quick uh flag breakout to the upside. Uh this is almost like a strong trend day and you know volume came in the market. uh I took this, you know, to the to the upside and this was a quick scalp and
[14:42] then after that I took another pullback on the fiveminute chart right here at was a demand. Let me show you guys on the five-minute chart. So, right here at the fiveminute chart, uh we had this demand um and basically I just uh got in
[14:56] demand um and basically I just uh got in right here and um I was up $2,600 for that day. I just took a quick scalp. Actually, this second trade was I went on light size, but overall um this day was a profitable day for me and I was
[15:10] done. Okay. Now, you might ask me, hey, how come you only look at the 5minute direction? Why you don't do top down analysis? Because maybe 90% of people analysis? Because maybe 90% of people online use top down analysis. Well, um
[15:22] example. Okay, here's the daily chart. Right now, notice how on the daily chart we are super super bullish, right? But look at this day right here where we basically went down. Guess what? This down, this red candle right here is
[15:39] basically a down day on the five-minute chart. Okay, so this one candle, yes, we all bullish, but this one candle on the daily chart. Let's go to that five-minut daily chart. Let's go to that five-minut chart. So this five-minute chart, right,
[15:53] this is this day right here. So that's why I only look at the five-minute chart for direction because one candle could literally be a downtrend. And I don't, you know, I hate to confuse myself or make things complex. So I just keep
[16:09] the five-minute chart because I'm only scalping anyway. I'm just look for quick for a swing trade, you know. So that's why I basically look at the five-minute want to break it down, you know, one more time so you guys will really
[16:24] understand what I do. And um, you know, the best thing to do when it comes to testing is is one of the best things you can do um because it's going to help you understand the market. All right, boys. So, basically, we are about to go to the
[16:40] So, basically, we are about to go to the mall real quick. I'm about to um just basically drive around to I don't know what I'm going to do, but I don't know how much I'm going to film. Again, I wasn't even trying to film, but I just
[16:53] picked up my car from the valet. So, I'm about to go to the mall right now. Uh, so I don't have my regular setup.
[17:07] can't even, you know, record like I want to. Um but um
[17:20] but uh you know I'm going to try to do my best anyway guys. So my best anyway guys. So after I finish you know basically trading again I like to just do things that
[17:33] relieve stress like playing basketball, maybe get a massage. Another thing I like to do is just cruise sometime. Cruise around. Uh, you know, drive Cruise around. Uh, you know, drive around in the um, Maserati and
[17:46] just enjoy life. Enjoy the horsepower. You know, I might head to the mall real quick. Actually, I think I'm going to go to Shake Shack real quick. They got some good They got some good burgers. All right, guys. I just came from eating
[17:59] right, guys. I just came from eating Shake Shack and it was good. I got a um one. I got to pick it out. But anyway, um, man, fast food be expensive for no reason, man. No reason. All right, guys. So, I basically just came from the mall.
[18:14] Listen, man. When you get a supercar, it's like it's like you you are not invisible anymore, want to talk to you, everybody want to basically connect with you. It's like,
[18:31] it's like, you know, I don't know, man. I don't know how to explain it, but it's just everybody wants to know you, what you do. They want to talk to you. They want to spark a conversation, and they basically want to um just overall be
[18:46] your friend, you know, and I can see why people basically get super cars because overall it is a good networking tool, but it's like everybody wants to be your friend, man. It's crazy. But anyway, I'm here to
[19:02] man. It's crazy. But anyway, I'm here to tell you guys, listen, know, watch this channel, treat yourself, man. Treat yourself, you know,
[19:16] because overall, um, basically guys, for some reason, we wait till some special occasion to treat ourselves, could be going out to dinner. It could be going, you know, to basically,
[19:31] you know, get a massage. It could be, it can be, you know, anything, you know, uh, I don't know, anything. Because females, they good when it comes to treating themselves, right? They basically will do their hair, do their
[19:46] basically will do their hair, do their nails, they will, you know, basically pamper themselves. But guys, we wait for a special occasion before we do something, you know, something for ourselves, you know? So,
[20:01] go out, man. Sometimes, like, this is why we like I got out the house, man. I just be in the house working, working, working. But I said, you know what? Let me drive my car. Let me go for a quick drive. Let me get out the house and let
[20:16] me just, you know, get away from the crib. But yeah, don't wait for a special occasion, man.
[20:28] You can basically treat yourself right now if you want to. It could be some $10, it could be $20. It doesn't matter. Treat yourself. Don't wait. Don't wait. All right, guys. So, going to wrap it up. Basically, again, wasn't really
[20:42] trying to record this trip. Just trying to relax a little bit, you know. So I just just going to wrap it up and basically um you know this week so far profitable
[20:59] and um I'm just going to keep going. Hopefully we you know I get some some Hopefully we you know I get some some good trades later on. But um best thing good trades later on. But um best thing I can tell you guys is your trading and
[21:12] patience is where it's at. And honestly back testing is where it's at too, man. that work when it comes to back testing. I'm telling you right now, do not let anybody discourage you when it comes to back testing, bro. Like, that is
[21:26] that that is your gym right there, man. You got to practice all day. Okay, but anyway, that's all I have for you guys. We out, man. We out. Let's get it. Let's We out, man. We out. Let's get it. Let's get it.
