YouTube Auto-Dubbing: Full Breakdown & Transcript

[00:17] channels. But you don't really need to be running a whole different channel dubbing enabled, which allows you to speak multiple languages like this.

[00:31] language. However, I made this video right here warning people about this. you to get a lot more views and need to understand how to use it correctly. Now, in order to use it,

[00:43] Studio, then you'll go to content, and then click on any of your videos, and side. And now, by default, it's going to auto dub your content into a bunch of have text on your thumbnails like I do on a lot of them, it's not going to make

[00:59] not going to be clicking as much. And so, to fix this, you can click on any of instance, and then scroll down, and you'll see this option to add a link, and then we go to youtube thumbnail downloader.com, paste it in,

[01:14] copy this image right here, go to ChatGPT, paste in the image, and say, ChatGPT, paste in the image, and say, "Make a German version of this thumbnail "Make a German version of this thumbnail just changing the text to be German."

[01:26] thumbnail. And we'll go ahead and upload that right here, and then click update. to help you get more views in other languages, which is obviously true. However, I'm wondering, is this going to help us get the right views? And I

[01:40] channels. Because if you're selling something from your channel, which I highly recommend doing, whether it's a course or a digital product, you would have to also translate that product into multiple different languages in order to

[01:52] theoretically do that. Like for For my website here is on Lovable, so I could say make a German version of the homepage. And boom, just like that, I've got my website translated into German. But then I need to translate the course.

[02:06] translate the entire course by using the dubbing feature. But then customer language, as well as customer support. And we need to make sure we're using a payment processor that processes payments in that country. And due to all

[02:19] generally not worth it. And now of course some people watching in another English. So if you have a link in your description that goes to what you're selling, a certain percentage of those people will speak English and they will

[02:33] join. But in general, I think your time is better spent just making new videos instead of making individual thumbnails for every single language with one you're running an entertainment channel, in which case I would recommend

[02:47] translating your channel because more views equals more ad revenue. You don't anything. Even if you are selling something, you can always remove the link from your description as well for the individual translated videos. Now if

[03:00] you were to use this, which languages should you focus on translating your videos into? Well if we go to the highest CPM niches on YouTube, as you Australia, these are obviously going to speak English. Then we have Switzerland

[03:13] people that are in those countries that watch YouTube is only a couple millions, opinion. Then we have New Zealand, Canada. Germany however has 65 million them also speak English, so you have to ask yourself, is that even worth it? But

[03:29] if you were to do this, the languages I would do would be German, Dutch potentially, it's on the verge of having enough people. French is a very good actually run a really big Korean channel, which is a translated version

[03:42] Japan as well, that's a very good one. But of course the lowest CPM languages are going to be ones like Hindi for instance, which yes, you can get a ton India, but the amount you make from those views is comparatively going to be

[03:56] my priority list for translating my does this mean going forward and what should you practically do right now? Well, if you sell a product that does have translations into multiple

[04:09] this because this is definitely going to help your channel. If you run an this for some of the top languages that I just mentioned. But for me personally, I already have some big channels in other languages, so I'm likely just

[04:22] they're getting a lot of views per month. And as I mentioned, some of them even have over a million subscribers. And going forward, what I predict is it'll get to the point where YouTube will automatically even then translate

[04:35] your thumbnail for you in addition to translating text in the videos. That's makes me a bit skeptical about this dubbing feature is the fact that if you watch any video in a dubbed language like this, yes, the language is correct.

[04:49] However, the text in the actual video is not correct. So, if you have a lot of so forth, that's not going to be correct. And on my translated channels, I pay people to cover those titles up with the translated text. But in the

[05:02] that out as well. So, if you're thinking of starting a channel in a different it and just think about using the dubbing feature in the future because want to make as much money from YouTube as possible, your focus should not be on

[05:16] translating your channel into multiple different languages, your focus should be on sticking to one language and selling something within it. And then or even hundreds of thousands of dollars per month, which is very possible cuz
