How to WALL MOUNT Amazon Fire 7 TABLET using a SWITCH

[00:06] the wall mount kit for the Amazon fire seven by luck in this video I'll show you how to install the wall mount along with the tablet onto a light switch the mount attaches to a rectangle light switch if your switch is not a rectangle

[00:18] then head over to your local hardware store or online retailer and pick up an adapter to convert from whatever switch you have now to a rectangle but before we install it let's take a look at what comes inside the box to open the box

[00:30] simply pull the tabs from the bottom of your lid then lift up the lid you'll be greeted with a sticker saying to stop and before you begin please check the instruction at this given URL that given URL is the page that you are currently

[00:43] on then lift up on the mount and set it off to the side these two cables are for the different configurations that you can have the shorter cable is for when you install it on to an outlet and the along with a cable is for when you

[00:56] little bag you will find the four buttons for the amount and the two screws you will use to attach the mount this is the mount itself these are the two screw holes you will use to attach it it goes on to a rectangular

[01:10] receptacle and then when you flip it over this is your routing channel for the cables these are your slots for where you install the buttons you place part that goes on to the receptacle whether that be an outlet or a light

[01:25] switch due to the fact that this is such a complex part to manufacture you will normal these are just manufacturing marks please keep all packaging bags and small parts away from children to avoid dangerous circumstances the only tool

[01:39] you will need to install the mount is a flathead screw driver to install the original box at the mount came in then grab the mountain put it on to the box choose the longer of the two USB cables that came with the mount take the cable

[01:53] out of the bag and undo the twisty tie then connect the cable to the Amazon then connect the cable to the Amazon fire seven tablet then place the tablet into the mount and route the cable down the first channel now where you route

[02:10] you're going to install them out the way that I'm going to have this mount is I'm light switch I'm going to exit through the middle hole so I'm going to route the cable through the channel and just going to

[02:28] keep on routing it through the channel and pushing it in the wire then when I get to the middle exit hole I'm going to place it in and bend the cable slightly

[02:41] you can have the wire exit through any one of the holes depending on what configuration you choose then grab the small baggie with the four buttons and the two screws empty out the baggie and set the two screws off to the side then

[02:59] set the two screws off to the side then install the four buttons into the mount

[03:11] control anything on the Amazon fire seven this is because on the first generation Amazon fire seven you use these two buttons and then on the second generation you use these two so this is compatible with both generations the

[03:25] Amazon fire seven is now ready to be installed on to the light switch before we install the new wall mount we need to remove the wall plate that is currently on the switch now I do need to warn you there is high voltage going through this

[03:37] switch so if it makes you feel better you can go and turn off the circuit breaker going to this switch but if you're very careful and don't stick your fingers or screwdriver beyond this wall plate then you will be fine so for

[03:50] circuit breaker then take your screwdriver and remove the two screws screwdriver and remove the two screws going to the wall plate and then simply

[04:04] pull off the wall plate now at this point if you do not have a rectangle switch then install the adapter to adapt it to a rectangle switch now since one having the cable come out through the middle I've changed it to come out

[04:19] through the end because I realized that the outlet is directly underneath the switch now we're going to install it so I'm going to have the two screws handy that came with the mount then I'm going to place the mount over the light switch

[04:44] install one of the screws and then take the screwdriver and screw in the screw

[04:57] once that screws in going to install the bottom screw me personally I like to

[05:11] line up the screws so they are both vertical and that's it now we need to deal with the wire that comes out of the mount now you can either get a USB outlet install so that way you just directly plug in the cable or you can

[05:24] use the brick that came with the Amazon fire seven but me personally I like these white Apple bricks because it matches better everything's all white and I just go ahead and plug it in and plug in the cable and you can go ahead

[05:38] and contain the cable by either tying it down somewhere or just have it hanging like this there are many ways that you can tidy up this cable but for the leave it like that then go through and test the buttons and make sure that they
