[00:38] that are going to get upset with this scene. I'm willing to bet you there it is. It's not a 0% chance. There is going to be a chunk of people over time that are going to clip this segment and they're going to get very upset, very

[00:52] angry with Yoruichi doing this type of interaction with Urara. you you you know because you you know people are going to say oh what do they mean by you know the girl that has darker skin doing this you know with Uhara you you know people are

[01:07] watch Bleach people that don't know anything about the scene or any context you know something like that's going to happen but uh you you you know there's going to be some angry people with this entire segment but with that being said

[02:04] they love Yoruichi. Like, you you could tell everyone that worked on this episode, they did everything they could to make her scenes just pop. Like, legit. Like, I mean, this scene was already one of the most heavily meme'd

[02:19] on segments for the manga for a very long time. Like I mean after Bleach's manga came to an end, I remember seeing constantly there's always pictures of basically, you know, this se a segment here like manga panels of this segment

[02:33] which uh let me see if I can actually find it here. It's really really freaking cool. Yeah, it's right here. So dude, that's Oh my goodness. But let me let me find it. The scene is right here. So it's at like 16:30 like

[02:56] scene. So, for those that need context for this and all that, okay, like this is the manga versus anime, by the way. And they they beautifully adapted this. But the the reason why this is even a thing is that this was actually a

[03:08] chapter cover for Bleach. Like, this was straight up a chapter cover for, you know, when this happened. And I remember everybody just being like, "No way Tae Kubo did something like this." Like everybody was like, "This man is just

[03:23] down bad." Everybody came to that conclusion when they read this chapter, with Yoruichi and all that. There was just so many people that were like, "Okay, Tit Kubo, we know you're down bad, but we accept you." And I I

[03:39] appreciate this, man. I don't know. There's just something so unfiltered, so early 2000s shownen when it comes to this that I really appreciate because like nowadays you don't see as much fan service to this level and degree and so

[03:54] shamelessly. And I I just I appreciate Tit Kubo. You could just Oh man, I I really love it. I I I just I I Yui is just such a good character, man. Like straight up one of my favorites. So I mean getting a chapter and an episode

[04:08] like this is just peak. I I'm just going to say now with all of this being said and the assets out of the way, we do need to talk about in general this episode. So, this is the first episode of part four of Bleach Calamity. And um

[04:25] this is the last part. Like I I feel like everybody that's watching Bleach to watching these episodes, you know, has already come to the uh conclusion understanding that yes, this is the last part of Bleach's anime. We are truly at

[04:40] the end of the series and it's honestly sad because from what has been announced, there is only going to be 10 episodes this season, which everybody was expecting 12 to 13 episodes. So, there was a lot of drama and controversy

[04:53] that's been taking place for like over a month now about the situation, but it is officially confirmed by Hulu themselves that yes, the final part of Bleach's anime will be 10 episodes. Now, the reason why this is sad is because there

[05:06] in terms of like additional added content that wasn't even in the manga, stuff like that. But, um, I do want to make, uh, you know, a statement here. Just because this part has only 10 episodes, I'm just I'm going to be

[05:21] blunt. There's going to be more. And the the reason why I feel like it's not really a well-kept secret at this point, but it's very obvious that Bleach is soon, and it's going to be probably getting an anime adaptation to some

[05:34] degree on that content. So, I think that in general, it's um this is not the end for Bleach's anime. It's just it's sad part. They could have expanded on some things, but obviously there's always

[05:47] hell arc when it finally gets an anime and stuff and the manga comes out. We got stuff like that. So, don't think that this is definitively the end, but it might be the end for a while. Maybe for a few years, give or take. But, um,

[06:01] overall, I just, uh, dude, I'm just so happy to have Bleach back. It is It's one of those series that honestly, every time I'm reminded of Bleach, I think about Bleach, and I see images, footage, and I watch an episode of Bleach, it

[06:14] gives me so much happiness. And the reason why is because as someone that has been watching Bleach literally since 2008, okay, like a very long time, it is

[06:26] 2008, okay, like a very long time, it is actually crazy just to see the rise, the fall, the rise, the fall, and then the rise again for this series. And if you don't know what I'm talking about, let me explain because this this happened so

[06:39] long ago. It's been way over a decade and a half at this point, but Bleach was such a mismanaged series. It was a series that had a really good anime, but some filler that just appeared randomly. Everybody knows if you watch the anime.

[06:53] And then the anime just came to a random conclusion after the Fullbrer arc. And it was just like sad because there was a whole other arc after that which Bleach ended like in 2011, 2012, somewhere around there. Like it it was a

[07:07] long time ago. It was a very very long time ago when Bleach came to an end. And then there was a series of years after that to where the manga was doing the last arc and you know we got to see like stuff after the anime and like people

[07:20] were begging for years like where is our where's our continuation? Where's our anime continuation and it never came and then the manga Bleach came to an end and then it was ended for years like half a decade and people started wondering like

[07:34] uh are we ever going to see Bleach again? Is it is it really a dead franchise? Is it dead? And in these years up to leading to the end of Bleach of the manga and then the years follow after that, Bleach started being viewed

[07:48] as a punching bag. It was a punching bag for the manga and anime community. People literally, I'm not even joking, treated Bleach worse than Boruto. They did. They They 100% did. They treated it worse than Fairy Tale. They treated it

[08:01] worse than Boruto. They did not like Bleach. There were so many people that would jump on hate bandwagons to absolutely do anything they could to slander Bleach because it was popular to hate. But obviously it was a series that

[08:14] did not get a ongoing anime. Like its anime was over and it kind of looked did. And then you know the manga the way it got you know a lot of people complain about rushing to the conclusion how Tai Kubo was treated. It was just a very

[08:27] just what happened with Bleach and what Shon and Jump did and everything. And so you fast forward through the years of the constant slander that Tit Kubo got, that Bleach got, the fan base got. You know, eventually after years of just

[08:41] being continuous punching bags, the anime the Thousand-Year Blood War gets announced in the early 2000s or 2020s, correction, and seeing the the change of

[08:53] like people that were very silent about Bleach for so long changing and speaking up for Bleach, I think is a very beautiful thing. I feel like there is a one of the big things that really I think has caused Bleach to really regain

[09:08] mentioned this a few times here and there over the years and I think one of the reasons why Bleach is like resurged in popularity and it's no longer used as the punching bag that it once was is because of the current environment we

[09:20] are in in the 2020s for the anime and manga industry. And what I mean I'm obviously I feel like I need to explain this point to get it across properly. Bleach when it came out is fundamentally different. It is now obviously it has

[09:35] characters, storytelling and all that that is standard shownen. But Bleach in that came out around the time period when Bleach was coming out alongside of One Piece and Naruto, it fundamentally was a very different story that honestly

[09:51] what the age that it was coming out in. The age was not ready. That era of manga type of storytelling. And what I mean by that is is that when you think about what was popular in the early 2000s and the 2010s, very very popular by the way,

[10:06] is I want to become the pirate king. I want to become Hokag. And that's still popular to this day. There's a reason One Piece is still popular. But if you didn't make a shownen about that those type of themes of wanting to be

[10:20] the best, the strongest, the pirate king or whatever, your series fundamentally kind of didn't have as good of a head start. And Bleach was competing with two other giants within the magazine, obviously Naruto and One Piece. And its

[10:33] compare it to what it was in the magazine with. It had a fundamentally different design with Ichigo as the MC. He was someone that isn't like, "Oh, I'm there ever was, the pirate king or whatever." He's just someone that wants

[10:47] to protect his friends, have a normal life, and you know, just basically he he he's kind of like a normal kid all things considered for shownen standards and seeing like his story it might not be as easy to connect with for a lot of

[11:02] people because of that age and that era because it was more of a mature take on the storytelling so to speak. Not the most mature. I'm not saying it's a sane or anything but you get my point. Hope I'm getting that across. So when we get

[11:14] into the 2020s, the fan base that stopped reading Bleach and watching the know all that and they finished the anime and they finished the manga, they grew up and then when Bleach got announced and you know obviously it is

[11:27] coming back or it has come back. I feel like that the fan base that grew up that may have not have understood Bleach the same way as they used to like they they as easily now understand it a little bit more now that they've gotten older. And

[11:41] I think that's really what has benefited Bleach so much is that it is a story Bleach so much is that it is a story that was more for uh young adults. Honestly, that that's my personal takeaway on it. It is a young adults

[11:54] type series that he basically was in a shownen magazine and when the audience grew up, they were able to appreciate the storytelling of Bleach a lot more. And so I'm just I'm really happy to see that Bleach has just garnered so much

[12:07] love, especially over these last few years. And I don't see the continuous there is issues and stuff with Bleach that you can complain about. There is problems. There is. It's not a perfect series. I'm not going to pretend it is,

[12:21] but it definitely was overblown. And I'm just I'm glad to see I'm glad to see the respect it's given. Like, this episode really is just so nice because you could tell the team that is working on this, they really love Bleach. They they don't

[12:34] just love it obviously for the fanervice aspects of Yoruichi and all that, but you can just like the opening song here. Okay, I I can't play it because it'll be copyrighted, but like the the opening song is so so good. Like I hands down

[12:49] I've seen all year. Like you might not like the lyrics, but the art and animation of it goes freaking hard. And then the ending song, the same thing ending song is just so fe thematic and there's just I I want to point something

[13:02] out that's really cool about the opening ending song. The opening starts with Ichigo like his mouth zoom up on Ichigo talking in like the first frame and then the ending song opens up with Orheime. Very interesting. I I like that. I I I

[13:15] I'm not going to go any further and elaboration on that, but that's pretty cool. Um, overall though, I think that this episode is just such a a fundamentally good first episode for Bleach the Fiery Blood War part 4. I

[13:29] going on here. We got like, you know, Ashida going up against uh, you know, basically the Grandmaster trying to figure out the limits of Almighty, you know, Asin, you know, is fighting uh, you know, potentially and was fighting

[13:43] Yoruichi, Yorichi's new form. There's just a lot of cool stuff going on. And I more about Urahara because he's a mystery. He is like up to this very strong, we know he's powerful, but like we don't get to see a lot of him. So,

[13:57] him potentially being put into an like an actual battle situation to this something really cool because obviously we're at the end of the story. So, character? And I'm excited to see what the anime does with him. I really am. I

[14:13] additional details and stuff with him because uh I I I hope we do. Now, with because uh I I I hope we do. Now, with all of that, I I'm not going to pretend I'm the biggest Bleach fan ever. I'm not going to say I am, but my my god, dude.

[14:29] I I love Bleach. Like, it is it's one of those series that no matter how old I get and how like, you know, how many series I read after this or watch after I've originally watched Red Bleach, I have a fondness for this. I I have a

[14:43] very deep fondness for Bleach because there's just something about it. It's very vibe is just so different. It's such a different series and you just don't get this type of formula now. I mean there is a reason why like for

[14:58] instance there's a lot of series in the 2020s for manga got inspired by Bleach. I mean JK very good example. You know, a lot of big popular series get inspired by Bleach, which is fascinating because obviously you would expect uh in the

[15:13] generation of the 2000s and 2010s, the big series that would be popular in the 2020s that got inspired by anything I think would be like One Piece or Naruto. But the fact that no, in the 2020s has mainly been series inspired by Bleach is

[15:25] pretty interesting. It kind of gives a little bit credibility to my theory on to appreciate these type of stories a lot more. But, uh, yeah, overall, I'm excited to see what's going to happen. I mean, Askin got his ass beat, by the

[15:41] way. I mean, he there was nothing he could do when Yorui is able to literally change like her spiritual pressure like 48 times per second. Like, you're screwed. Like, it's it's it's over. So, I mean, everything about this entire
