AI Summary

This video reveals unconventional strategies that small YouTube channels use to get monetized in as little as 30 days. The creator shares specific techniques for improving video titles, building credibility, doubling down on successful formats, and leveraging Shorts to gain subscribers quickly.

[00:01]
The Science of Getting Monetized

A small group of channels achieve monetization in as little as 30 days by using specific, rarely discussed strategies that go beyond basic niche selection or video ideas.

[00:26]
Packaging Beyond Thumbnails

While thumbnails are important, the creator argues that titles can be even more critical. He cites a channel with 900,000 subscribers from only 14 videos, attributing success to clever titles rather than just visuals.

[01:35]
Title Technique 1: Specificity

Using specific numbers and details in titles, like '3,000 to 5,000 dollars into your bank account,' makes them more clickable and compelling than generic phrases.

[01:49]
Title Technique 2: Urgency

Adding words like 'fastest' and 'ASAP' creates a sense of urgency, increasing curiosity and click-through rates. Example: 'fastest way to make 10 grand per month' vs. 'how to make 3,000 to $5,000 online.'

[02:28]
Building Credibility with Authority Figures

The basketball channel 'Out of Bounds' gained 14.5 million views and 43,000 subscribers in 14 videos by leveraging NBA players' faces in thumbnails, tapping into existing audience trust and interest.

[03:09]
Applying Authority to Any Niche

Structure your video around a known authority figure (e.g., a famous chef's dish for cooking content) and feature their face in the thumbnail to instantly build credibility, even with zero subscribers.

[04:01]
The Double Down Strategy

A channel grew from 7,000 to 150,000 subscribers in 12 months by testing various formats, finding one that worked (a video with 2.9 million views), and then repeatedly recreating that exact format with slight variations.

[05:07]
Implementing the Double Down

Pick two to three formats, test them, and once one performs best, drop everything else and create one to two more videos with the same topic structure, title formula, thumbnail style, video length, and opening hook.

[05:49]
Using Shorts to Gain Final Subscribers

To get the last 400-500 subscribers for monetization, use YouTube's 'Remix' feature to edit a well-performing video into a Short. Select a complete thought or valuable tip under 3 minutes, add auto captions, and a call to action.

The video emphasizes that rapid monetization is achievable by focusing on packaging (titles), leveraging authority figures, doubling down on successful formats, and repurposing content into Shorts. These strategies, combined with fundamental YouTube knowledge, can accelerate channel growth.

[00:01] get monetized, but there's a small group of channels achieving this in as little as 30 days. But the question is how? What do they know about YouTube that most of us are missing? Well, as YouTube matures, I've noticed something very

[00:13] YouTubers who have discovered that there's a science to getting monetized. And as these techniques become more wellknown, more and more channels are getting monetized in record time. So, in this video, I want to reveal some of the

[00:26] using. so you can go from struggling to get views to hitting those sweet isn't going to be a video about picking a viral niche or coming up with better video ideas. Today, I want to cover new and rarely talked about strategies that

[00:40] believe are a big reason that these channels are getting monetized. Starting packaging is, but not in the way you might think. Take a look at this video right here. You've probably seen this channel, which has grown to over 900,000

[00:54] subscribers with only 14 videos. Now, you might think that this video blew up definitely helped, I actually think it's the title that made this video so improving your thumbnails to get more views, including myself. But rarely

[01:09] titles, which can be pretty important and sometimes more important. And to prove my point, take a look at this video. So, this video is from a guy that I've been following for a while. And about a year ago, he went mega viral

[01:22] without using any fancy thumbnails, just still images of him in his office. But his titles were genius and it helped other channels blow up. I found that he techniques to make his videos so clickable. So, let's break them down and

[01:35] you can apply them to your own videos. So, the first technique I found is specificity. It's really just when you get super specific in your titles. So, fastest way to make 10 grand per month, he used specifics like 3,000 to 5,000

[01:49] and into your bank account. The second reason this title's so powerful is audience desperately wants in a short period of time. This is a powerful way to make your titles more clickable because it adds a sense of urgency. Just

[02:02] imagine if his title said how to make 3,000 to $5,000 online. Pretty boring, right? But by adding fastest and into your bank account ASAP, it adds a whole new level of curiosity that makes you want to click. So, if you want to get

[02:15] you to test both these strategies on your titles. Okay, so the next step I noticed these small channels were using to get monetized so fast was their ability to build credibility without having so many subscribers, which we

[02:28] know is important to build trust and have people get invested into your videos. So, one of my favorite examples of this is from a basketball channel called Out of Bounds. In just 14 videos, they got over 14.5 million views and

[02:41] over 43,000 subscribers using one simple and powerful strategy. Instead of building credibility from scratch, they simply leveraged basketball celebrities attention. For example, take a look at their second video that got over 2

[02:55] million views. They used the face of Mugsy Bogues, a NBA player, to tap into already around them. This helped them instantly build authority because their audience is already interested in and already respects. Now, you might be

[03:09] thinking, "What if I don't run a documentary channel?" Don't worry, you can still apply this to any niche. Let me explain how. Step one, structure your If you're making fitness content, this could be the morning routine of your

[03:22] cooking content, it could be how to make this famous chef's favorite dish. The that matters is that you're using an authority figure that millions of people already know. Step two, add them in your packaging. Use their face to get

[03:35] thing you notice in the thumbnail so people instantly recognize the authority authority and grab attention in your niche, even if you have zero subscribers and no credibility. But the secret to making these types of videos work is to

[03:49] keep testing authority figures and see which ones get attention. Which leads me to the next technique that I see these small channels using to get monetized so fast. I call it the double down strategy. And to explain how it works,

[04:01] they're not a small channel anymore, but in less than 12 months, I saw them go in less than 12 months, I saw them go from 7,000 to over 150,000 subscribers. In fact, one of their recent videos hit over 5 million views. But if we go back

[04:13] that they were struggling to get over 10 to 15,000 views. They were testing a bunch of different video formats, like uh videos about grooming, videos about dog food reviews, videos of taking his dog on trains, but none of these really

[04:27] went viral. But then something interesting happened. They tested a very similar format with this video right here, and it it did even better. It got here, and it it did even better. It got over

[04:40] video right here, and it went even more viral. It pulled in over 2.9 million views. And since then, they've rinsed and repeated this format over and over, noticed these small channels doing is they'll test a bunch of different

[04:53] formats until one works, and then they'll double down on it with a slight as fast as they did, then I recommend doing the same. You want to pick two to and you're looking to find which one performs the best. If any of the formats

[05:07] then drop everything else and create one to two more videos around that same format. And I'm talking the exact same topic structure, uh, similar title formula, thumbnail style, same video length, uh, same opening hook style.

[05:21] basically recreates the exact same video. They don't just make similar videos, they make videos that are almost identical in format, just with different creating the same video until it stops performing. Now, this is a great

[05:35] doesn't always result in rapid subscriber growth. So, there's one last with you that I've noticed these small channels using to get the last 400 to 500 subscribers so they can get monetized. And the best part is it's

[05:49] minutes for each video that you post. So, what I want you to do is open up your videos that's already performing well, one that has good watch time and engagement. Click on that video and underneath you should see a button that

[06:02] says remix. Go ahead and click that and select edit into short. YouTube will that will let you select a part of your video to turn into a short. And that's where the magic happens. You don't need any fancy editing software. You don't

[06:15] repurposing something that you've already created. So, find a section of your video that provides a complete thought or a valuable tip in 3 minutes or under, something that can stand alone and still provide value. Select that

[06:27] clip using the trimming tool that YouTube provides. But here's the secret publish, make sure to add auto captions and then a call to action at the end. Something like um subscribe for more tips. You can just use the text feature.

[06:40] can use it to gain a few hundred subscribers with shorts and uh it's it Now, as helpful as these hacks are, they monetize your channel if you don't know the fundamentals of YouTube. So to learn

[06:56] the fundamentals, I recommend checking this video out right
