[00:00] Hi! I'm Hazel, and this is a guide to the Varusias fight in the Void Spire on Normal and Heroic difficulty. This is a straightforward single phase fight. Shadow Claw Slam starts with a big impact in this ring.
[00:14] One tank must be inside that ring. Everyone else can stay out. It leaves a big debuff, so alternate which tank gets in the slam. Next you'll get Aftershocks, which are these expanding donut rings to avoid.
[00:28] just outside one that's about to explode, and then run in when it's done. This happens a lot in this fight, you're gonna get really good at it. The slam will also spawn lines of crystals which block off parts of the room.
[00:41] We're going to need to break those down to survive the fight. To do that we'll use the blister creep adds. Creeps will fixate players. What you need to do is lead them into the walls and then kill them.
[00:53] When they die, they do a little AoE, some raid damage, and break a wall if they're on it. The creeps will spit on you to slow you down. Gross. That can be dispelled if it becomes a problem Make sure that you use the creeps to break both walls because you need the entire room for this next bit Void Breath picks a side and sweeps lethal void fire slowly across the arena
[01:18] Look at where he's pointing, and then get to the other side of the room. If you left any walls up, those can absolutely get you killed. Otherwise easy peasy, just get to your side and keep DPSing.
[01:31] Other things to know, Primordial Roar does some big raid damage as well as a little suck in and knock back combo. Stack up and heal through it. Each subsequent roar does more raid damage, so if the fight runs long, you'll need some
[01:44] big cooldowns. On Normal, that's it. On Heroic it's exactly the same, except now the walls will take two blistercreep pops to break. Figure out who's going where to cover the walls evenly.
